Very poor customer service throughout. Chose Yorkshire windows as we felt they were a trustworthy company despite being quoted much cheaper elsewhere (£350 cheaper!), bad mistake. After setting a fitting date and arranging to take the day off work we were told 2 days in advance that the door had been damaged in the warehouse and they had to cancel the fitting and were unable to give a timescale for fitting to be re-​booked. I told them this was unacceptable and they should at least be able to give me an idea of how long it will take. I was told I was 1 of 21 affected and made to feel that they really couldn’t care. Incredibly poor customer service over the phone from Installation department (although no-​one answered the phone number given on a single attempt so had to go through the main office) to the point of being out-​right rude.
Finally door fitted 2 ½ weeks later and issues noted straight away. Trim around the edge of the door began to peel back within an hour of the workman leaving. The fascia placed over interior window sills left coarsely cut with rough and sharp edges, and the bolt connecting the knocker loose.
Another day booked off work for workmen to return and correct issues. Workman left an hour ago and the trim is again peeling off. Rough and sharp edges covered with filler, not great aesthetically but told there’s nothing else they could do with it.
3 days off work so far and still not got the door or service I thought I was paying for.
Do yourself a favour, go with a small company that relies on word of mouth and good customer service, can’t begin to explain how much I regret choosing Yorkshire windows.
