Still the best. The black pudding and mushrooms in the breakfast are still standouts. Weekends are very busy, but you can have a coffee or drink in the cozy front room while waiting for a table.

I had a lovely dinner here with a friend, this past Friday. First tip-get reservations! We arrived around 8:00 and the first table was not open until 9:45. We waited in the bar next door, with fantastic cocktails(although no snacks after 6:30) and the time raced by. There were so many lovely vegetarian options that we struggled to select just four. We settled on: Garlic prawns-flavorful and fresh. Vegetable croquetas– a fun take on a normally meat driven dish. The texture was more satisfying than the flavor, but overall it was good. Cauliflower nuggets with blue cheese dipping sauce-similar to the croquetas, the texture was better than the flavor. I was looking for a stronger blue cheese flavor in the sauce. Patatas bravas-delicious, and surprising that there were two separate sauces, one more creamy and one more spicy. A winner. The bread with the table was ok, nothing spectacular. Regardless the overall meal was a pleasure to eat!

THE best Sunday full English breakfast you’ll ever have. What started as an occasional treat every Sunday morning had now become a weekly treat.

A brilliant venue for breakfast, the Full Monty is especially worth a look. Although the homemade hash browns are unconventional(I have certainly never had one quite like theirs anywhere else!) they’re lovely, and their uniquely crafted ketchup and brown sauce are also brilliant. Not much more to say!

If you fancy a change to your normal diet and you enjoy Tapas… try this place. You can order whatever you like and whatever your taste buds are screaming out for. The staff are very helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have regarding your choices. The establishment is based on Cuban /Latin themes and also offers a wide range of cocktails and good Spanish wines to wash down the excellent food. They do beer too ! ! Queens Rd is located away from the centre of Leicester(15 – 20 min walk) but has a small selecton of bars and eateries to keep you amused. They also cater for private functions… go on give it a try…
