What a transformation! The food here is fantastic and whilst you can get your pub grub, they also do themed menu nights, all of the time with the food being cooked to perfection. But it’s the carvery that is the pièce de résistance. The meat is superbly cooked and the vegetables — wow! Just try it.

Used to be the worst food for miles. New owners and a chef that can cook!
Excellent food at reasonable prices.

Used to be an awful pub!
Now very much improved. My parents enjoy the ‘pensioners’ food there — smaller portions at a reasonable price.
I personally would like much larger portions! Especially of the lovely sausages.

A soulless estate pub with very poor food (range and Quality). Standard beers available — nothing very interesting. Couple of benches outside if the weather is good. Too many fruit and quiz machines inside. Staff are not well trained. Very little to recommend this, probably best avoided
