Nice décor and food can be good but avoid if you are planning going there for Sunday lunch. Being local we have been several times at various times of day for Sunday carvery. Each time we were told 20 minute wait which was more like 30 – 40. Then when seated you go up to order food and after you order you are informed there is a 30 – 40 minute wait for food which often turns out to be longer. They skimp on the gravy and the stuffing is drier than the bottom of a budgies cage. I suspect this may be a ploy to get you to drink more. Also at other times do not order the fish and chips. My fish was full of bones, the tiny sharp ones that pierce your mouth. Wine is overpriced.
