New little cocktail bar that had opened up in the cultural quarter of Leicester. American speakeasy theme everything is prohibition tastic with barrels and tea crates for tables and lots is stripped wood. Looks like this might have been a former shop but I like the way the have kept nods to its former life rather than messing about with it too much.
Bar area isn’t very big and I can imagine if it was in a bigger city it would get very busy very quickly with people waiting for cocktails.
Good cocktail menu with with lots of the old favs on there as well as some I’ve never heard if before as it was Easter weekend and I was down in Leicester visiting a friend I decided to go for a cocktail called the easterend. It was a long cocktail served over ice and was very tasty. My friend went for porn star martinis which were pinker than others I’ve seen and lacked the floating passion fruity.
It was a nice bar with a nice vibe and if I’m ever in Leicester again I’ll be sure to check it out. Not sure if they do food during the day but I’d like to find out.
