Old Greyhound Inn

Great place. New owners in October 2014 and only criticism would be they have removed the kids menu, perhaps they don’t want little people around? Sunday lunch is superb.

It’s really, really white.
Seriously, inside and out — its white. I think this may have been an effort to make it look clean and possibly upmarket, but I don’t think it is. It’s really quiet and the beer selection is mediocre at best.
Although it is clean, it’s cold and unwelcoming with inexperienced, bewildered staff to match. The only really redeeming feature I can find is the huge outdoor space out the front with lovely picnic tables facing out on to the village square which is quite pleasant and great in hot weather. You can also just about make it from the patio area to the bus stop when you see the bus back to civilisation come round the corner if the traffic’s in your favour and you can leap small fences.
