Nice to have a proper café in the city centre but it is a little pricey for the quality of the food. The tea is pretty weak and the food is a little too greasy. great for a quick bite in the morning.

The Silver Street Café in Leicester is located in the Silver Arcade area of the city center. It is renowned as being a value greasy spoon and particularly known for its full english breakfast, which is very good value for money with a very decent sized round of toast or bread and butter provided! They have a couple of vegetarian options and a nice thing to know is that the eggs are cooked separately unlike many places making them okay for vegetarians. The main downside is the coffee is pretty dire and weak! The tea also does tend to be pretty weak so make sure you let them know if yu liek it made strongly or not would be my key advice for this greasy joint!
