Waterfields -Leigh

Old fashioned. vintage cakes, all the oldies! absolutley lovely. you can tell how good this place is from the smell, even as you walk past down the street! i often go here while im shopping, to get my little girl a sausage roll, and myself something too… whether it be a pastry or a cake! or both.
they are so good!

Waterfields is a lovely old fashioned traditional bakery, very clean and fresh, it always smells nice when you go through the door, it is well known for being the most expensive bakery in Leigh, but it also tastes the nicest, so you get what you pay for. They also make the most beautiful birthday/​wedding cakes to order in many beautiful designes, there are so many to choose from you cant go wrong.
They do hot pies and pastries and lovely sandwhiches, cakes, and their fresh baked bread is delicious too.
For that special occasion they do have a fantastic buffet menu at quite reasonable prices.

Waterfields is situated on Bradshawgate in Leigh town centre.
There are car parks around the town centre that are pay and display and the bus station is close to the town centre.
The shop front of Waterfields is traditional/​modern, clean, bright, attractive and has character. The window displays are beautiful and change regularly and are seasonal.
The inside of the shop is immaculate, clean, smells gorgeous, bright and well layed out.
Fresh bread, pies, pastries, cakes, sandwiches are on offer and these are of a very high standard and are competitively priced.
Cakes can be make to order for special occasions and customer service is excellent.
The staff are very friendly, very helpful, well presented and the atmosphere is pleasant.
A really lovely shop that offers high quality foods.
A favourite bakers of mine and one that I have no hesitation in Highly Recommending to others, you may be pleasantly surprised.
Leigh town centre is a nice little shopping centre with a variety of shops and includes the Spinning Gate centre and ajoining Market Hall. B&M Bargains is within the Spinning Gate centrean Aladdins cave.
