A quaint yet spacious pub/restaurant by Leigh sports village all themed on Wrens (as in a small spherical bird).
Full table service is provided including drinks, which is unusual at this end of the market.
The meals all seem to be 2 for 1, which is ok so long as you’re in an even numbered party. Most main courses in the region of £9 — £15 so the cheapest one will be free.
I had the Liver from the specials board which was delicious and my dining partner had the Plaice which was also good and a very generous portion.
Decent free wifi too.
