Always a good place for a meal and a pint after shopping, staff are generally friendly although it can take a while to get served would recommend as a reasonable place to get a good meal and drinks at fair prices

Come to weatherspoons order a rare and a well done steak
Refuse mine (the rare one) due to being very well done and no onion rings and Wayne’s because he asked for no peas and no tomatoes and got no onion rings
To have my steak that I cut given to Wayne with my food but less the peas and tomato
And mine no onion rings and being called a lier by a waiter
Excuse me but having butcher training and being a bloody good cook and I cut the steak
To be told by landlady that they always cut the steaks to check them and that she has seen the steak that was sent back
When I asked surly your chefs know how to cook a steak that’s cooking part 1 to be told we have cooks not chefs We thought we would give it another try after raw chicken last time we were here
I think lesson learnt especially after being called a lier by the manageress and a waiter

Cheap Beers & Wines good selection of real ales, and cheap good value food

Of the three Wetherspoons /​Lloyds bars in Lincoln, this is the best. Doesn’t get too busy in the evenings as it’s just out of the city centre, and usual Wetherspoons low prices.
What sets it apart is the character — it’s the old cinema building, so there’s plenty of art deco detailing and a cool layout.
