I have dined in Spice Lisburn on a quite number of occasions and have always been really pleased with everything from the welcome, the surroundings, the service, and most importantly, the food! The staff are friendly and helpful, and endeavour to do everything they can to ensure that you are comfortable and well looked after during your sitting. If there are any questions about the menu or any special requirements you have, they are only too happy to assist. The menu is plentiful and contains every dish you would expect from an Indian restaurant. Usually when I eat here, I would have the Chicken Tikka Masala with pilau rice and garlic naan, and consistently every time, the food has been delicious. Spice Lisburn has a sister restaurant in Templepatrick, and while I feel that the restaurant is Lisburn does not meet the exceptional standards of their sister restaurant, they still make for a fantastic dining experience and I would highly recommend it.

I would mirror almost exactly what Nettie says. This was THEWORST Indian food I have had ANYWHERE in 40 years. Pick a meal any meal, chicken, lamb, beef, pork or fish and they all are cooked exactly the same. I ordered Lamb Tikka Masala what I got was a disgusting, dayglo orange, tasteless goop with no vegetables, no ingredients, no flavour, no texture; to this was added a handful of pieces of Lamb. I cant say it tasted awful because it tasted of NOTHING. My daughter odered chicken korma what she got was EXACTLY the same sauce except it was dayglo yellow and equally tasteless. They obviously buy catering buckets of generic Indian«sauces» and depending on what you select they then spoon the sauce into a serving dish and then add the requested handful of meatchicken/fish/lamb to the sauce WITHOUTCOOKINGORMARINADINGTHEMEATINTHESAUCEATALL. Our pilau rice was a disgusting brown concoction again flavourless. We had a meal in this restaurant a year ago and it was pretty good. Obviously they are cutting costs by getting rid of proper chefs, and treating the customers like idiots. I will NEVER return to Spice, and I would suggest if they want to see how to produce excellent Indian food that has peole returning time and time again that they visit Bokhara in Holywood. The other problem with this restaurant was that at 7 o’clock in the evening it was BLOODYFREEZING we couldnt get out of it quick enough. It really is that bad. TBH this deserves NOSTARS

I am not a big fan of indian food but i quite like the food at spice. I usually ask them not to make my food spicy and they are really nice and helpful about this. The menu is extensive and varied and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Parking is a bit of a nightmare as the restaurant is located beside the main road but there are plenty of side streets to park at. The restautant itself is large, spacious and clean and tidy. The staff are super friendly and nice. The food is served quickly and piping hot and tastes beautiful. Definitely my favourite indian!

This was one of the worst take-aways We ever had, we ordered beef jalfrezi, which was just beef cubes with some sort of ‘curry’ sauce, no flavour, tasteless. the so called pilau rice was fried in dirty fat, completly bland. also the aloo goby had peas and carrots in it, obviously the chef’s need to go back to catering school, and learn their spices and flavours, You are decieving the people of Lisburn, with this 3rd rate flavourless restaurant, I have been eating curries for 30 years, and this was by far the worst I have ever tasted, I will never eat there again, and I will make sure that my friends and family never endure this dreadful place.

I’ve been to both the restaurant and the take-away. The food is amazing! I’m not a huge fan of Indian but the rest of the party are always impressed. They do a few alternative dishes for those not keen on Indian, I had a pretty good steak. The décor in the restaurant is a bit bland, but the service is top-notch without being intrusive. We do find it a bit expensive, but you do get what you pay for. For example, a meal for 4 usually costs just over £40. That’s the take-away! Overall, it’s a great place and I have no hesitation recommending it.

The food from here is amazing, its one of the best indians i have had here. i can really reccomend their chicken chilli garlic. The only thing is they are very expensive. Their main meal dishes are priced at around £7 — £10 and that doesn’t include a side. So it adds up pretty quickly when you’re getting a takeaway. If they lowered the prices i’d order from them more often.
