Often overlooked, this small café(but with a surprisingly large amount of seating) is a good place to head to in a rush or in search of peace and quiet if timed right. A good place to work with friends when the library is typically heaving, Café Direct doesn’t offer any bargains in terms of food and drink and has closing times that seem very sporadic. As an eatery it is pretty flawed, offering a small choice in baguettes and cookies. It has a larger choice of drinks and is primarily a drinks café. Worth a look sometimes but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Liverpool, United Kingdom
Cosily located in the modern languages building of the University of Liverpool, it sits snug waiting for the influx of students grabbing a toasted teacake and necessary coffee before that next gruelling drudgery(sorry, lecture) commences. It’s a little over-priced because it can expect trade from ravenous bookworms however, I would only come here for a tea or coffee and nip to the cambridge for some more filling food. It is a good place to cram on some notes with a brew though and a great meeting place but definitely just one for the students!
