Card Outlet has a dated aesthetic but certainly fulfills its role as a store in the Strand Shopping Centre. Offering absolute bargain prices (baskets outside with giant 99p stickers on for all kinds of gift/​present accoutrements), the Card Outlet is a great place to head when you need a special occasion message for a loved one.
Birthday badges, balloons, and walls full of cards, the Card Outlet has a lot to offer. I’d say the range available is not as vast as other gift stores I’ve been in to (I’m a fan of monkey-​themed cards and there weren’t that many in here… shock horror). Yet, on a last minute dash in Bootle to get a loved one a card I would definitely head to this Outlet.
