Efes Fast Food

Efes on South Road is one of those fast food places that open a bit later than most around the area, and for this it must be praised to a certain extent.
However, possibly due to their clientele usually being of the late night variety and almost certainly very drunk, Efes’ quality of food isn’t really that great. They do the usual selection of kebabs and burgers, as well as a rather large selection of pizzas, but they’re just not made to a very good standard.
If you’re drunk enough then generally I suppose you wouldn’t notice, but I’ve frequented enough takeaways when pissed in my time to know the good places to go (they taste good even when you’re so drunk you can’t really speak) and Efes isn’t one of them.
If you’ve got the late night munchies then this could be worth a go, but otherwise then there’s better places on South Road to go instead, never mind in Crosby/​Waterloo.

Yet another generic ”it’s early in the morning and I’m hungry, I wouldn’t usually eat this,” takeaway.
Efes offers all the usual delights of one of these establishments: from burgers to kebabs, whatever satisfies your needs. The food is average at best, and I definitely would not choose to go there over any of the other establishments on Waterloo’s prestigious South Road.
You definitely find some dubious folk in there at 2am if you are unfortunate enough to wander past.
However, I guess if you like fast-​food then Efes caters to your needs. The service is fast and the staff are friendly.

Poor standard. Tatty chippy with a bit of a down market air to it. Really needs a revamp to change it’s image, and the staff need to be better managched. Avoid.

Efe’s is your standard chippy but they also do Pizza and Kebabs, they have tables and chairs if you want to sit down and eat there and then which is always handy (also good for helping with the local litter problems) Doesn’t stay open as late as some of the other places down South Road.

Disappointing. They used to be good but recently have gone downhill. Always getting the order wrong. Food overcooked. Staff rude. Very disappointing. Their partners Blue Star are the same sadly.
