Awful food and awful customer service. DONOTEATHERE. I have never really dared to complain about bad food/service to wait staff before but I was so annoyed and unhappy with this place there was no way we were going to pay for my meal. When we got there another customer was shouting at a waiter as he was leaving. We should of walked out with him. First they sat us right next to the door to the toilet. If you’ve ever eaten here you will know that door slams really loudly, but what you might not know is that it jolts the seats near the door too. That was quite irritating and I would of asked to be moved but we hardly saw the wait staff. The waiter who showed us to our seats took our drinks order, never to be seen again. We had to re-order with a different waitress who brought them over and later brought us a condiments tray with an empty ketchup and mustard bottle? Helpful. I had the Philly Steak Bake and only ate a few mouthfuls as it was vile. I am not a fussy eater either, it really was disgusting. I told the waitress it was like eating slime. It had no flavour and even after I doused it salt and pepper it tasted like bad macaroni cheese. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger which he said was really bland and came with luke-warm fries. The size of the portion was ridiculous, it could of passed as a child portion. There was a medium sized burger and a handful of fries and no salad. Once I complained the waitress left us sat there for 10 minutes. Didn’t bring over the bill or anything?! We had to go and find her and when we complained about that she waved a dismissive hand in our faces and walked off again! A «manager» came over eventually to settle the bill with a half-arsed apology. She didn’t charge me for the slop but still charged full price for the burger, watered down diet cokes and dough balls(which were nice). She was almost as dismissive as the last one too! There is a lot to be said about customer service. No wonder businesses go bust left, right and centre when people like this run them.

The reason Frankie & Benny’s is such a hit with parents? They are a family friendly restaurant that have high chairs & baby mats. They sell organic baby food for newborns. They have a special Kids Menu for £3.95. They serve fish fingers, hot dogs and hamburgers. They give free sides of vegetables or salad with each main. Their puddings include ice-cream sundaes, fruit salad and bananas & custard. Their adult menu includes great burgers, pasta & pizza. The staff fall over themselves to serve you and do it all with a smile. As an added bonus, this branch is near a cinema and bowling alley.

Frankie and Bennie’s never pretends to be anythign it is not. You simply cannot go wrong with this place. The interiors might not be too diferent from each other where ever you go. Then again if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I love the old school American theme. It is fantastic, and here there is no change, and that is just fabuloso! The food is always great and served in good time. The service is brilliant and the staff attentative always smiling. Brilliant for families as well as groups, it really is a safe haven for satisfactory dining experience. Bravo bellissima!

Basic and no frills fast food restaurant… without the fast !!! Ok for a change. Held a kids party there once or twice and it was ok. Not somewhere to go to make a good impression though. Can’t understand the excitement about the garlic bread. Its bread with garlic butter on. Hardly gets a michelin star !! 3 stars just about covers it.

Frankie and Benny’s is situated at the heart of a retail park and it forms part of a wonderful family day out. This place fuses together the best of Italian and American cuisines and it even adds a whole heap of fun for the kids as well. On a family day out which could involve an afternoon at Hollywood Bowl there are few better places you could choose to grab a bite to eat for the family than this place. I like this particular branch because it has a fantastic location and as well as this the staff are amongst the friendliest in Liverpool. This establishment has something for the whole family and the atmosphere is always fun and relaxed meaning you can really enjoy your whole dining experience. The portions are big here and the food is of good quality so everyone will leave this place fulfilled and with a smile on their face.

Absolutely lovely garlic bread! They have stone oven, so every pizza, bread is just perfect! Slow service, because place is bit to crowdly. Expensive place, but food is worth it! Big parking space.

This is a budget restaurant in the respect of the food not the prices as they are quite expensive, i had the lamb and mash, i would swear the lamb was the frozen ones that you zap in the microwave, as i have these sometimes at home and these were the same even the gravy was the same, the waiter got quite flustered when i approached the subject. The service was slow all in all it’s a place i would not go to again.

A great chain of restaurants where you will always find something nice to eat! They appear to have just put a few changes on the menu as they no longer had my favourite bbq chicken lasagne but there’s still plenty there for all to enjoy. The garlic bread with cheese is some of the nicest I’ve ever tasted and you can’t beat the ribs. The only thing I would complain about is that the glasses of wine are really expensive, so you may as well buy a bottle for the price of a glass. This particular one is very easily accessible, just straight off the M62.

Lovely diner chain in a classic American style. Pictures of the Rat Pack abound, and the music is the classic stuff from the likes of Bobby Darin. It’s a nice, cosy, adaptable environment that suits couples, families and groups of friends. The staff there are down to earth, though a little lazy at times. The food generally arrives very quickly. The portions are smaller than the price warrants, in my opinion. I also find that the food quality varies wildly depending on what you have — it might just be bad luck on my part, but whenever I’ve had chicken there, it’s been horrid. The steak and burgers are fantastic, though, and the herb potatoes are magnificent. Desserts are also good quality, though again, small portions.
