Huyton Central Library

Huyton Library is a medium sized, general public library in the village of Huyton, a very short walk from the train station and shopping centre.
I’m a bit of a library hound, as I love books, and I used to work in two different libraries, and love discovering and exploring new ones.
This one fairly impressive for a small town library. They have a good sized general fiction section, as well as a good children’s area. And they were doing story time when I went in, so you can bet they have some good children’s programs on during the summer months for your kids.
I didn’t really have time to check out the craft section, which is a bit annoying since I’m always on the look out for both new craft books and old, vintage gems, but maybe next time I’m in the area.
All in all, a good library. You may not find highly specialized books here, but you will find the basics, and you’ll certainly find something to take home and read.
