Kimo’s food is very nice it is very well presented as is the restaurant itself. the price of the food is excellent for it’s quality. my only downfall was the service and the staff the staff where not polite and they where quite ignorant. but for food and price range I would definitely reccomend.

Although it’s not licensed, Kimo’s is a fantastic and affordable café based in Liverpool City Centre, about 5 minutes walk from both Lime Street and Central Station. They sell a mixture of English and Moroccan cuisine, and all of their meals are less that £10. In fact you’ll pay under a fiver for most of their dishes. The food is fantastic and the portions are very generous. The service is great and the atmosphere is very chilled out and relaxed. I love sitting in Kimo’s at night as the ambience is great and if you can get a window seat you can watch the world go buy from the comfort of a couch and with great food and company! I would personally recommend the chicken and honey salad as this is my favourite dish off the menu. It’s served with pita and croutons and is a healthy lunchtime snack, all for less than £5!

I can’t say I have visited many middle eastern restaurants before but Kimos made me appreciate their unique charms very much. Throughout my time in Liverpool I have been keen to sample as many different restaurants as possible and it was in this vein that I decided to take a trip to Kimos. The restaurant itself is actually quite smart and did enough to make me feel relaxed and at home, this is something which I rate as very important as part of my dining experience. The staff were great and gave me as much attention as was required and nothing was too much trouble it seemed which was really nice. The menu is a great mix of middle eastern and Mediterranean food and on the whole I had a great time here and plan to return many more times in the future. If you’re looking for something a little bit different when popping out to eat then I would say give Kimos a try.

I’d like to relieve Kimos café of a reputation it has developed for itself as a «student cheap place». While It’s not far from university and not pricey it is great for food. It is not half bad this place I tell thee. While the service isn’t the best, it really doesn’t matter because the food makes up for it. It really does have a feel of being abroad which I love, and with that comes the difficulty in communication or the so called difficulty anyway. I had heard alot about the staff’s inability to understand customers here. Then again I have also seen customers acting like absolute tools, no wonder the staff can be bit abrupt at times. I was pleasent and they were pleasent with me so I’m not complaining. The food menu caters for the discerning burger lover to those seeking the middle eastern option. Whichever tapas, kebab or sandwich you go for it is likely to be a tasty treat served with rice cous cous and humous. Mouth is watering already… Try for yourself.

The Kimos branch in Mount Pleasant is an excellent middle-eastern themed restaurant. It is rustic in style, popular with students and has a fine menu that offers great food at reasonable prices. The environment is simple yet effective in design, as the use of dark colours and plain décor gives it a cozy feel. Whether or not you’re a fan of middle-eastern cuisine, I command you try some out at no other place than Kimos! The service is warm and welcoming. I’ve never had any problems with the food and I usually enjoy a kebab or two with all the garnishings. Kimos makes a fabulous dining experience whether alone, with friends and/or family.

Doner kebabs are somewhat of an enigma to me. When I’m drunk they seem like the greatest idea ever, but even the smell of one when sober is enough to make me retch. That is except for the doner kebabs that are served in Kimos restaurant(/café, depending on how you look at it). Kimos is popular with both students and locals as it offers tasty Mediterranean food at affordable prices, from sandwiches and burgers to pizzas and speciality lamb and chicken dishes. As I say, one of my personal favourites is their doner kebab which, unlike usual kebab shop kebabs, is filled with good quality meat that doesn’t taste like cardboard, leaving you dreading every mouthful before you’ve even swallowed as well as more than adequately filling accompaniments. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is quick and cheery, resulting in you leaving Kimos with a smile on your face as well as a full and satisfied stomach.

Come to Kimos. This is an order. It’s good for students(pocket friendly prices), and somewhere nice to bring your parents or a date. It’s cheap and the food is pretty decent. It’s great value for money; the pizzas and sandwiches are filling and tasty and the mains are huge with lots of spices and flavour. I love the Moroccan atmosphere, they have a rustic feel to the place with one corner filled with bright fabrics and cushions so you can eat in comfort next to a fire, or a more formal side to the restaurant which is slightly more modern in tone.

Kimos Café is the ultimate student institution. It’s cheap, it’s fun, it caters readily for vegans and vegetarians and probably a good thing for students, it doesn’t serve alcohol! There are a few Kimos venues in the city and the brand is famous for its burgers and kebabs. The sandwiches are excellent value starting at £2, and you can have them served in a choice of breads — baguettes, pitas, gigantic barm cakes, there are pizzas, and you can even get proper main meals here too, all of which you’ll find under £10. It’s an ambient place to sit too, the Moroccan-themed décor makes it feel very atmospheric and welcoming and you can bring everyone here from a date to family members, friends and even kids; it’s bound to impress all and sundry. As for beverages there are some lovely fresh juices to choose from as well as different kinds of teas and an excellently strong coffee. Definitely not one to be sniffed at, I’d happily recommend this to anyone looking for a rustic yet lovely cheap meal.

Since the success of the small Kimos on Myrtle Street, this café has expanded to become a fairly large restaurant. The menu hasn’t altered though, and neither have the staff, although I have to say I miss the old Kimos. When you first walked in, you thought you’d left Liverpool altogether thanks to the foreign music caressing your earlobes and the wooden tables and seats covered in lavish silk fabrics and cushions. It definitely had an Eastern feel to it. Now, all that has been exchanged for cool contemporary minimalism, and although it is obviously to optimise the space and business, it seems such a shame to be so far from its roots. That aside, the food is amazing and covers most appetites, especially catering for vegetarians in a way that isn’t just salads. The prices are reasonable and the service good, making this a great place to go for a snack for two or a banquet for ten.
