A big, dumb shout of a place, Kozys will fit in nicely with the other locales radiating from Queen’s Square. Relatively quiet in the daytime, once the clock ticks over to six, out come the flailing disco spotlights and the DJ begins to put on his quick, murmuring DJ voice. You know the kind I mean. If you’ve spent fifteen seconds at a cheese club or a family wedding you’d have heard it. Where do they learn how to do that? Night school? This place also deserves a mention for the fact it is the only club I’ve ever visited that played Ernie(The Fastest Milkman in the West) by Benny Hill. I don’t know why it was made all the more bizarre by the fact that it followed Bob Marley but it just was, goddammit.
