Looks

Looks is a bit of a random shop really, their storefront sign and display seem to contradict each other. The sign looks like something you would find in a cowboy town in the 1940’s, but the display showing a new range of suitcases and travel bags for the whole of Bold Street to see.
It’s not a one of a kind shop, you can buy luggage even cheaper in Primark and other department stores around town. However, it’s not just suitcases that they sell, they also stock other random bits such as backpacks, umbrellas, pillows and earplugs, basically all your travelling essentials.
The shop’s always quite busy and seems to be middle of the road to high end in terms of pricing!

As you cross the threshold of Looks you are surrounded by the pungent aroma of leather. This ain’t your usual cheapo leather look stuff and the proof is, well, in your nose.
They have a great range from huge suitcases to hand luggage and a good selection of brand sale backpacks at the back which is awesome if, like me, you’re going to a festival or camping soon and need a well-​wearing bag to carry all that booze in!
It’s certainly specialist so if you have something specific in mind they should be able to cater for you and are never knowingly undersold so if you need some new kit to carry your clobber in then look no further than Looks on Bold Street.

Looks is an independent specialist luggage shop and I kick myself for not buying my travel luggage at this shop, simply because I tend to just walk past here without bothering to notice or concentrate. Silly me, since this shop sells a terrific range of bags, suitcases and many useful accesories for all your travel needs. Not only that, but their prices are very affordable unlike some high street stores which charge the earth for something so simple. Whilst Looks may not sell brands such as Samsonite, their products by observation and random handling feels durable enough for the average traveller.
The staff appear friendly and they greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed any help which I thought was considerate.
I have no hesitation that this is a shop I shall consider purchasing from in the not so distant future. Thoroughly recommended.

Looks is an independent, affordable luggage and bag shop on Bold Street. This is an independent shop, and buying your luggage here means supporting a local business rather than pouring your money into a national chain like Primark.
The shop carries a wide variety of styles and colours of suitcases, backpacks, rucksacks, purses, and other handbags, from the fashionable to the simply practical and efficient. Whether you’re a girly girl who loves pink and flowers, or a very masculine man who wants something plain and normal, you’re likely to find a piece of luggage here that you can appreciate and use.
Items look fairly inexpensive, and probably not last you forever, but they aren’t going to fall apart the next day either.
They also sell passport holders, disabled badge holders, glasses repair kits, travel pillows, jewellery cases, and other accessories.
The saleswoman I spoke with was very kind and helpful when I spoke to her, and I noticed that she was also friendly to other customers coming into the shop while I was there.

Looks may look like a lookalike for the room where they filmed the Saw movie series, all unhealthy neon and depressing grey wall tiling but it, in truth, the best place to get hold of cut-​price luggage or bags in Liverpool.
If you’re going away for a weekend on a budget flight and you need a suitable sized hand-​luggage holdall (which Ryanair define as 55 cm by 40 cm by 20 cm and Easyjet define as whatever you can comfortably carry and will fit into overhead storage) to live out of for the next few days then look no further than Looks. I got one here for less than £10 which has lasted me over two years worth of back and forthing on planes.
Look! If you’re after some more heavy duty luggage then this is a great place to pick that up too with trolley bags of various sizes for under £20 — a snip compared to department store prices.
And occasionally Look will even have some decent named brand bags from makes like Eastpak and Jansport for a fraction of their recommended pricing. Lucky you!
