I have had multiple appointments with the only customer adviser named Jason, and several visits to this branch. First time Jason sents me awey(even though I had the required documents to open the account) claiming it could only be done online while the website clearly states it can only be done in branch. The second time I had to show him on the website that he could open the account, but then he did not know how to do it. A few days later I was informed by another branch, trying to activate my debit card, that there was something wrong with the documents provided. I had the details changed on one of the documents and brought it in branch, now they claimed there was something else wrong with it. They have sent me a letter requesting documents they already had, without mentioning what was wrong with them. They just keep piling on. I have checked the documents I had supplied to the NatWest branch in Old Swan with Barclays Bank and they deemed the documents acceptable and simply opened the account based on these documents without any problems. I have had a horrible experiance here, and I can not recommend this bank to anyone needing an bank account.
