Neptune Aquatics is hidden away in a Maghull industrial estate which can make it difficult to get to especially if you haven’t got a form of convenient transport. However, it is well worth the visit if you have a passion for pet fish, as this is one of the best aquariums in Liverpool.
Though the aquarium is small in size, they do manage to squeeze in a decent variety of freshwater and marine fish with a separate tank furniture and equipment section that does not fail to impress.
The owners are very friendly in nature and always willing to help you make the right choices whether or not you are a beginner. You can also tell that fishes and the state of tanks are well looked after.
Overall, this is a fabulous shop where you can find everything you need to raise pet fish, albeit at moderate prices but of great quality.
