We visited on a Sunday and after reading the menu outside opted for the Mezze at £17.50 each. When the bill arrived — £18.50 each. The list of soft drinks — outside, online and in the menu — tells us Coke or Lemonade is £1.00 each. The price on the bill? £2.00 each. I now realised why we were asked«Tall glass, lots of ice?». It’s a casual way of getting you to nod along and accept an unpriced large glass. Finally — unbelievably in my opinion, for a meal involving multiple dips — bread isn’t included in the mezze price. I now realise why we were asked«Would you like some of the Greek bread straight away, the nice thick stuff?». An additional £1.60. I agree with the previous reviewer — are we expected to eat taramosalata with a spoon? The restaurant was fairly busy for a Sunday. Good sized portions for what we got, but each serving was just bland pieces of meat or plain fish, and we only got the sauteed potatoes at the very end(no rice). Good large room but the atmosphere was somewhat dull and I’m afraid the constant mouthing off of the hostess would be more suited to a greasy spoon(where at least you get good HONEST cheap grub).
