About 8 years ago I used to go to Parnells all the time including New Years Eve. Then it went downhill, big screen TVs for sports, a pool table and a poor selection of wine that is you can have red, white or rose house wine, no other wines are now served. Great if you want beer, pool and nachos!
I miss the non threatening chilled out atmosphere of the old Parnells when it was a fab little wine bar!

Parnells has been around for a few years now and is well worth a vist. It has a bit of a dressier atmosphere than alot of the other pubs/​bars along south road. the bar has a modern look and is always clean and well looked after.
They food in the day time is pretty averagesandwichs, soups ect nothing to special but is fine if your just popping in for a coffee and a bite to eat.

Parnell’s is a popular drinking hole in South Road Waterloo it has a good mix of clientelle and always seems busy. Occasionally they have DJ’s mixing but it’s not really set out for dancing. a small kitchen provides the usual bar foods and prices are average.
