Subway

T’was a chilly Tuesday night on the wrong side of pancake day, I was lay naked curled up in my bed. The window was open and a cold breeze was rolling in. I felt his whisper before I felt him enter. «No aftershave you go home with Dave» he spat out softly into my ear. I would recognise that voice anywhere for it was the very same aftershave and soap distributer I had turned down the night before in the kind of night club I go to and stand at the side of the dance floor watching the crowded fleshy figures form in and out of each other in the collage of florescent light. As he entered me i let out a weak puppy like Unilocal hoping a house mate would hear. But he knew no one was in. Once he had finished inside of me we lay side by side in bed panting with exhaustion and hunger. He then broke the tension in the room and invited me out for something to eat. We then went down to subway and he bought me a 12 inch chicken tikka sub. As we sat there tucking into the delicious sandwich treat he peered down at me from across the table and bellowed out for everyone in the restaurant to hear «that’s not the first meaty 12inch you’ve had tonight» I then sobbed into my rainbow cookie for the remainder of my stay. Other than that the food was delicious and made fresh and fast 5 stars with exceptional service

This subway is situated opposite the Royal Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool’s largest and busiest hospital. It ensures that it caters for both the workers in the hospital and students in the area by offering discounts for NHS staff and students alike. It has ample seating for the regular flow of customers and is kept clean and tidy by the staff.
The staff are friendly and are happy to advise if you are confused by the extensive menu available. They pay attention to detail as they make your sandwich and take care in what they are doing to produce the best result possible.
There is toilet available in this branch, unlike most city centre branches. So you can freshen up before or after your meal. The toilets are clean and are obviously well maintained.

This subway is important for the reasons previously mentionned but also:
— has the vital addition of enough seating for all it’s customers and seemingly always has a queue.
— It has a toilet, unlike some subways in town
— it offers crucial discounts to NHS staff (and is regularly filled with hospital workers from accross the road
— Student discount redeemable with a Uni card
Apart from that it is the same setup as most other subways and features the same suspiciously addictive subs.

There are two advantages this branch of Subway has over others in the city.
The first is it’s open til 11pm — so is an ideal place to go if you end up drinking too many beers, cocktails or bottles of wine after work and still need some fuel before hitting the sack. The second is it opens at 8am every morning — so is an ideal place to grab a muffin, sandwich, hot melt or coffee if you’ve been out partying all night. It also has a wash-​room where you can freshen up — so your colleagues won’t know you’ve been upto mischief again the moment you walk through the door!
