Taskers DIY Superstore is a great venue for all DIY fanatics. The shop is expansive and stocks a lot of useful merchandise. From paint, to garden furniture, lighting, bathrooms, kitchens and mirrors, to mention just a few, Taskers is a must-visit when giving your home a make-over or purchasing some nice seats for the garden. Prices are very reasonable and there’s quite often a sale, so updating your home shouldn’t extend your purse strings too much. Great for DIY fanatics.

Taskers DIY has a huge range varying from in depth DIY tasks to the more widely appealing garden furniture and interior décor. Spanning over two floors this B&Q style shop offers pretty much every solution to most home tasks. A large selection of paint made this my perfect choice for re-decorating, my only gripe is the colour but that was my own poor initial taste and nothing to do with Taskers! It also seemed like a fairly quiet shop both times over a weekend when I used it, I didn’t have to queue on either visit. If you live in the outer Liverpool area then Taskers is an essential DIY trip with the only competition really being Rapid in town which is fair distance away and a bit confusing on the inside.

Taskers is DIY heaven. Simple. They provide absolutely anything you need for your home, from plumbing to garden furniture. They also have a wide range of modern and traditional home furnishing and accessories which are of grreat quality, and they’re bound to have something to match your style considering they house practically everything under one roof. Similar to the review below, I agree that it is similar to IKEA and unfortunately doesn’t have the magic. IKEA is like a day out for me — sad I know, but it’s a wonderful world of DIY stuff. Anyway, before I go off on a tangent, back to Taskers… The staff are great and really friendly, they will always help you try and find what you’re looking for, or advise you on colour schemes.

Taskers was one of those magical places like Ikea that your dad would need to go to on a weekend sometimes and would take you if you were lucky. Sad but true my friends. Yes, I used to think it was some fantastic land where you could get any colour paint and there were aisles after aisles of lamps and lighting. Of course, I wasn’t so impressed once I’d been to Ikea the first time, but you catch my drift. Like Ikea, Taskers specialises in affordable goods for the home. It’s just slightly closer to home than Ikea. Not totally exhaustive of things for your interior, it is still a handy shop and mostly full of men scratching their heads or using tape measures. On the back of this particular Taskers you can also find a frame-making shop which is pretty nifty too. Ok, so it’s not the wonderland of my youth. But it’s a wonderland for budding interior designers, and that’s good enough for me.

I went to buy a bathroom and was impressed with how much the staff helped me to pick the correct bathroom and shower for my house.
