This lovely pub in Walton Vale is named after Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem, and as such, before entering I was an immediate fan. With seriously impressive long-​opening hours, and serving a full menu from 8am, the Raven is a great place to go for a full breakfast, a leisurely lunch or an evening meal accompanied by drinks.
The décor inside is welcoming and the pub is always nice and clean. The bar is fairly large so there is hardly ever a queue.
Other bonuses include the likes of Wi-​Fi, the fact the Raven is child-​friendly, and entertainment such as large television screens.
A great pub.
