Who knew as a resident of NYC for 20 years, I’d be able to find NYC style pizza in Liverpool of all places? While their take on cheesy garlic bread threw me, I was very impressed by their pizza & will say it was just about the best food I’d eaten in the UK(whether or not you think that’s saying something is up to you). It does get rather crowded, but the service was quick & the food is worth the wait, although I STRONGLY suggest you check your bill. I ordered a ginger beer with my pizza, which I was told, after some time, they did not have, so I chose a Coke instead. I was charged for both, which was annoying, given the service, aside from being quick, isn’t all that personable.

Not a bad price for an American style of pizza, though I don’t know if it’s quite the calibre of good olé fashioned NY pizza that it’s attempting to be. Pretty much all their pizzas are £9(including some with more expensive seafood and meat toppings), but I went cheap and got the £7 margherita(basic cheese and sauce). The crust is very thin, so hearty crust lovers beware. I have yet to try other pizza establishments in Liverpool, but I wouldn’t mind returning here for a pie.

If I lived in Liverpool this would be the place and hood I would hang on a Tuesday. Good selection of pizza(half Vesuvio, half Forrestor) and £2.50 beers; chuck on a ball game and life is good.

The first time I went to Tribeca I wasn’t sure what to expect. I usually frequent more ‘alternative’ places and I had assumed that this wouldn’t be my type of location. While it wasn’t like my usual type of places in some ways, in others it very, very, much was! The drink selection here is the main draw. There is a huge array of different things on offer, especially spirits. Want a rum? Well, pick from about fifteen. The same goes for vodka, whiskey, etc. The list is enormous. There is also a good variety of beers in bottle(Asahi! Estrella! Moretti!) and, of course, on tap. Always good to grab a Guinness! The pizzas were unexpectedly delicious. REALLY good, in fact. There is no shortage of choices available to you on this front with simple classics such as Margarita sitting side by side with surprisingly authentic combinations such as Proscuitto & Artichoke and Pear & Gorgonzola. The list is endless! The spicy Vesuvio is a personal favourite. The food is a winning combination of delicious, cheap and fast. You are never kept waiting long at all! Overall I was very surprised by Tribeca and it has become one of my favourite places for both lunch and dinner. It can get a little packed when there is a football match on as the bar has TVs. To me this isn’t so great but if you’re into football then you may think the opposite! Either way, make sure to check this place out. The drink selection won’t let you down and the food is lovely indeed.

It somehow doesnt feel like a restaurant with its modern easy going interior, long bar running on one side of the room and the big glass doors which are usually opened up for a hot summers day. Well I guess it doesnt pretend to be one as its for that individual who wants that cool bar feel with a reasonably priced meal. Thats how I see it and although there are numerous eateries that serve pizzas there are hardly many that have the feel of this place. Service is always friendly, food is consistently good in a place that has a good atmosphere. Thumbs up

TriBeCa is one of those places that I walk past every day and have never given a single thought to. Why, I’m not exactly sure. I think that I had somehow gained the impression that it was a bit up itself, and full of rather dodgy blokes in Ben Sherman shirts attempting to chat up pieces of skirt. How wrong I was. I decided to challenge my misconceptions of the place by popping in here for a lunchtime pizza and a beer the other day. I was immediately taken by the interior — light and airy without being too garish, TriBeCa is festooned with framed covers of Rolling Stone, bright green walls, and a space solely devoted to clocks. They were also playing Neil Young’s ‘Heart of Gold’ on their jukebox when I entered as well, which, seeing as it’s one of my favourite songs, was always going to endear me to the place. My pizza was put down in front of me in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious — light, flat and crispy with just the right amount of topping. Plus it wasn’t too expensive either — £5.99 for a meal that filled me up for the rest of the day! The best part though was undeniably the dessert. I decided to indulge in a rum soaked chocolate sponge but, when I was ordering it, I was told by our server that his Mum(who had made the cake) had run out of rum so had had to use crème de cacao instead. Homemade cakes! Made by someone’s Mum! Perhaps I’m just a bit gullible when it comes to desserts, but that charmed my socks off. Of course, it helped that it was delicious too — rich, sticky, chocolate and decadent. Although possibly not the best thing to be scarfing down when you’ve got to walk up a huge hill back to you office. TriBeCa is leisurely, friendly and — best of all — relatively inexpensive if you’re looking for a lunctime treat. I look forward to coming here again — if only to try some more of their home made desserts(and maybe a cheeky cocktail or two!)

My husband & I visited here on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly, the service was fast, probably helped because it wasn’t busy. The lighting & menu cards made the menus a little harder to read but there was a wide variety of pizzas to choose from and they were lovely. We sat in the part decorated like a 60’s living room and enjoyed the background music. We also enjoyed a cocktail each. A pleasant place for a bite to eat.

This is a fantastic venue that serves great food and drink in a comfortable environment! The service is excellent, the prices are fair and the music is great all day and night! I think that the Tribeca chain really has it to a tee when it comes to creating great social spaces and great environments for eating out with groups of friends. They have a wooden pizza oven and bake fresh pizzas to order on the premises; they have a range of toppings and a range of other snacks and combos on their menu! They have a full bar, which includes lots of different bottled beers, spirits, a few draught beers and a limited wine list! But this is the place you’d go for a bottle of beer, a chat and a snack rather than a huge meal with a bottle of wine!

TriBeCa Bar & Pizzeria have got the Manhattan vibe down to a tee. Housed in a corner building on Berry Street, it’s a cool, open-plan eaterie with exposed brickwork, vintage wallpaper and big windows. There’s comfy leather sofas where you can kick back and relax or big wooden tables and benches where you can catch up with friends. Good music flows through the speakers and the staff usually look like they actually enjoy serving customers. As for the food and drink, TriBeCa sell a great selection of bottled beer, bourbon, vodka, wine, cocktails and pizza. All the pizzas are made fresh and at £4.95 for classic Margherita and £5.95 for the other 15 — 20 combinations, they’re shockingly good value. I’ve yet to try the TriBeCa Classico but the Di Vittori and Bianca are both fingerlickin’ good. The only thing that stops me giving the place 5 stars is during football or rugby season they have games playing on a big screen. This obviously appeals to some customers but it makes me wanna run out the door and find an old Mom and Pop pizzeria.

As cool, crisp and green as a cucumber, Tribeca is already making a name for itself as a place to meet for drinks in town, especially now that the Metropolitan has gone. I sense something dodgy going on. The varying levels of Tribeca’s floors give it a wide, open feel, something that’s even more admirable given the actual narrowness of the building. The crowds that come here are vibrant but the drinks can get a bit on the pricey side. A round here failed to get me much change from a twenty pound note, and that’s not just because it was a fake one I’d made in my kitchen from a cut-up tea towel.

Tribeca is classy bar in Pizzeria near Liverpool’s city centre. This place has a really chic and urban feel and is where a lot of Liverpool’s chic crowd like to dine. To be frank I can understand why because this place has class and really is of a very high calibre indeed. The prices here can be a bit steep for student tastes but this doesn’t matter as the food and service mean that it is worth every penny of your cash. The staff here are very pleasant and really professional meaning that the food arrives promptly. The way the food tastes is delicious and you can tell that much passion and effort go into preparing it. On the whole a classy and professional place which really is a pleasure to experience.

The big open windows that are usually left open throughout the duration of the warm weather let the atmosphere of Tribeca spill out on to the street and vice versa. Pizzas and beer are always a winning combination and they have got it just right here. A big stone, clay oven type thingy sits at the centre of the venue with the chefs furiously adding toppings and sliding the bases into it while you can either wait at the bar with one of their range of cocktails or take a seat for a more formal approach. The pizza was good but probably not as good as say Pizza Express but then these are not PE prices and to be fair if you are left with a few more quid to spend on the drinks offers there isn’t much of an argument.

Tribeca may be relatively new, but it is definitely forging a name for itself, especially among Liverpool’s students. I ventured in one monday night with a friend and although we were the only ones in there for a long time, we still had a great time. It’s such a pleasant place to be that it doesn’t matter whether its packed or empty. I had the pizza and Peroni for £8 and was surprised at how large the pizza was and how much better than a run of the mill dominoes effort it was. Afterwards we sampled the cocktails, there is a wide range varying in price from £5 to £7 and the gingerbread swizzle I had was something i would strongly recommend!

Recently opened on Berry Street, the neon red TriBeCa sign blazes out into the night inviting in pizza lovers and party animals alike. There are two very different sides to Tribeca; with the gorgeous fresh and creatively topped pizzas prepared centre stage in an open kitchen on one side, and the busy, exciting atmosphere of the bar after 11, once the clientele stop munching pizza and start guzzling cool cocktails and shots. The surroundings are retro and don 70s style patterned wallpaper with an old gas fire and heirloom-like lamps which make you feel oddly at home, as though you went for pizza at your nan’s house. And yet the open-plan nature of the layout with stairs on either side of a large open space leading up to a more cosy eating and drinking area give it a contemporary look. The bar stretches the length of the room ready for the buzz of people, clamouring for the cheap booze(spirits under £2.40) and DJ nights until 3am! With pizza and a bottle of Peroni or such like for under £8 I’m certainly not complaining! Especially for the guys, they put on all the footy so added bonus if you’re out and don’t want to miss the match!
