Poor service at the bar. Ordered chilli con carne and a burger. Overall quality was very poor — bland taste, weird looking meat in the burger, smashed tortilla chips. Not satisfied and would not recommend. It’s worst than McDonald’s.

I’m not a great fan of Yates’ Bars as I tend to prefer other bars for a night out in Liverpool but have been here for lunch a few times mainly for burgers and sandwiches and found the food to be rather good. They often have good promotions on food and drinks and service is quick which is a plus point. The branch is located in the Queens Square area of the city which has a number of surrounding bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Its also very close to one of the main bus stations and a short walk from Central Train Station too.
