I remember BHS having quite a bit of decent kit and selection when I was younger, but it’s definitely on the decline. This store is lacking choice compared to the behemoth Debenhams opposite it, and the prices are nothing to shout about either. Still, I wouldn’t say avoid it completely as they do occasionally have some nice exclusive items. The men’s clothing department in this particular branch is lacking.

I believe that BHS is pretty much in nearby Debenhams’ shadow. The place stocks some decent little gifts in the run up to Christmas, but short of that, I don’t really see the point of the shop. Debenhams does everything they do, on a bigger and better scale, for similar prices. There’s very little for men or younger women at BHS Llandudno, it seems to very much cater to the more mature ladies. I spent under £10 there last year, couple of stocking fillers. I think my grandmother might give a more positive review, but sadly she’s no too internet savvy. If this shop closed, very few people would miss it. They could get the same stuff at the same price in Debenhams.

A few years ago the new Parc Llandudno retail park was opened and as a result BHS came to town. Its a reasonably sized store which seems to me to cater more for the(older) ladies than kids and men. To be honest it’s not my kind of shop but they do come in handy for stocking fillers at Christmas. There’s a nice little café upstairs where you can get a decent breakfast or cup of tea if the need arises and they also have toilets which is a big plus in a town with far from adequate toilet provision. Parking isn’t normally a problem as the retail park has a good sized car park, with free parking for up to two hours, and it’s within easy walking distance of the town centre.
