This is what an artist supply shop should be like. AP Fitzpatrick is a painters dream. They sells products specifically for painters and carry only the best products available… Lascaux acrylics, mediums by Kremer, oils by Sax and Blockx. And they make the best bespoke canvases ever. Though this place can hit the pocket book hard and fast, the steep prices are well worth it. I do not go to another supplier for my canvases. They also have a lovely and very knowledgeable staff who are happy to help and solve any paint related issues.

A. P. Fitzpatrick is a little specialist gem. It does not look like much from the outside but inside is everything artists could want. The shop seems like something from a long lost era of small private shops, the staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a lot better than all the new over-​sized chain art stores, which do not have what you need anyway.
