Right under the railway bridge on the right coming from Vauxhall Station. You have missed it if you have reached the church

I went a few weeks ago to see ‘Blink again’ to this theatre. I was surprised when I arrived as it is difficult to see that there is a theatre in that location, as what you find instead is a pub! It is very easy to get there though, being just a short walk from Victoria station. The theatre is above the pub, so you need to enter in the pub and when everything is ready they open the door to allow everyone to go upstairs. Upstairs is equally surprising, as the theatre is merely a tiny little area that is what would be called the ‘stage’ with a few chairs opposite, so it is all very cosy, that is for sure! It is definitely low-key to say the least, and with an amateurish feeling. The crowd is eclectic, which I always welcome. The atmosphere was very good, everyone was up for it and a good connection was established between the actors and the spectators. The play itself was a musical showcasing songs from musicals that were flops in either Broadway or the West End. It was very entertaining and good fun. It has been running all of June and it willl be finishing tomorrow. I didn’t realise, otherwise I would have written this review sooner! Definitely an interesting and quirky venue, where you can enjoy going to the pub for a drink right before and after the show ;)
