Our bartender was very friendly and helpful. He recommended two bottles of wine and served us delicious drinks even though they were closing in less than 20 minutes. Don’t forget to ask for Luke!

What is up with Europe and not allowing takeout? Maybe I’m spoiled by American service but I don’t see what’s so hard about making something and putting it in a box so I can eat it at home. It’s not even like I’m asking for a doggie bag, just a simple to go order. How is it not worth satisfying a customer and making the sale? Not recommended.

It was ok. Just ok. The cocktail I ordered was stronger than expected(plus) but was missing the rhubarb and custards mentioned in the description(minus). For food we shared a few of the sharing dishes. Duck dumplings were tasty but could have done with a dipping sauce. The slow cooked pork was delicious and the potato and apple it was served with complemented in perfectly. The pasta dish was ok, although my companion really enjoyed it. And sweet potato fries were, well, what you’d expect from sweet potato fries. I’d go back on the offchance but I wouldn’t make a specific trip.

Great atmosphere. Local crowd. Lively place with good mix of small plates and hearty main courses.

This is one of the better All Bar One’s! Nice open space, not too noisy, and lots of different seating areas. The worst point was slow and unfriendly service at the bar while he was making cocktails. All cocktails were nice at a few at £5 during five o’clocktail. Also the tapas menu at the moment is really good — 3 of us shared 5 dishes for £25 total. Can recommend the feta and greek parcels, mini mezze and pork belly(although it doesn’t look great). The chicken skewers were nothing special! Recommend their disarrano sours.

For someone who hasn’t always been a big ABO fan, I have been to a few this year and my opinion is changing. This particular one was a good size, light and in a good location. This time, the occasion was a post-wedding hangover breakfast with three equally hungover friends a couple of weeks ago now. I had the pancakes. I asked them to leave off the banana(it is the food of the devil) and I was delighted when they came without banana. So this is a place that does listen to such requests(not all places do). My first drink was a elderflower mocktail and then second was a hot chocolate. I am pleased to say that all the sugar helped the hangover! My friends had various savoury options. I didn’t really pay attention as I can’t eat savoury breakfasts. One definitely had a veggie breakfast and finished it, so assume it must have been good. So if you need a hangover breakfast, you could do worse than going to All Bar One.

Love this place on a Saturday as it’s nice and quiet. But generally a lover of All Bar Ones anyway. Great service and huge selection of drinks.

We had dinner here and really enjoyed it. The service was great and we were seated in a booth with large windows that opened onto the street, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The food was also exceptional. I ordered a crab and lobster burger and my husband had a BBQ pork burger. Both burgers were served with chips and were delicious!

We went for Tapas Tuesday! Arrriba! — it was really good. I’m spoiled by the wine in California, but found a great bottle here. The service was great. The chicken Satay nailed the Thai peanut sauce, the Chorizo Bruschetta was a fun Spanish fusion on a classic, the calamari withaoili and salmon ceviche both tasted fresh and delicious… which brings me to the nachos… and then we derail. I grew up in Southern California, too close to Mexico to really be fair on this one… but I feel inclined to help. I think there was too much focus on making homemade chips and not enough focus on making nachos… I’m here to help… if you need a panel of one that has eaten copious amounts of nachos(low brow to high brow), let me know. I was half way through them before I hit a shred of cheese which only highlighted the fact that these nachos did not really have cheese!!! Anyway, the nachos is what’s dropped them down 1 to 1.5 stars, BUT if you are not from Mexico or the SouthWest,(of USA) you may not even notice that you aren’t actually eating Nachos, just a plate of food named Nacho. Nachos aside, we’ll be back and you will probably like your visit here.

Their slogan is «Food always tastes better with friends.» On that, I must agree. Fortunately, I was with G, so I was in good company. With practically every meal, I had a beer, and this time I went with a Guinness. This restaurant seemed very chic and a bit classy. They had a full bar with several beers on draught. The goal of this meal was to get my fish and chips fix. This meal did not disappoint. It actually was a «nice» or fancy fish and chips. It was one large piece of fish with a lemon garnish Of course, it came with fries. I was expecting peas, but they were mushy peas. They had been mashed. This is a good place to go. This was definitely not a pub. It had a nice restaurant vibe. The food and the service were impeccable.

Nice place to grab a few drinks after work. I was only here briefly but it was good! There wasn’t a big q at the bar and they served some really good local and main stream beer. Only negative and nothing to do with the place, I accidentally stepped on a lady’s foot as I spun round to leave! Not the best way to end my time here!

Great Pub! We’re not big beer drinkers so we left that for another time, but the fish and chips were good and the baby back ribs with pineapple salsa were delicious. Delicious. So good we almost wasted one of our limited meals in London on going back. And it wasn’t too pricey!

We wanted to miss the rush over the lunch period so decided on a later sitting. Hadn’t been to an ABO since our student days so opted to give it a go. I must say considering it was after the main lunch rush there was not a clean table in the pub. Cleared our own table and the ordered the food. The food was presented on bits of tree stumps, I’d much prefer a plate, for future and will make sure I ask for one. No cutlery provided and no offering from the staff indication to where it might be located, though fair play it did taste good. 2 out of 5 for the staff, 3 out of 5 for the price and 4 out of 5 for the food… I think 3 out 5 overall is fair. P. s. wear a coat, it was freezing in there.

Shall we go for lunch? she said. Yes, how about All Bar One? came a reply from another girl. Invited along, I was reminded why Mitchell and Butler’s All Bar One was created as a female friendly alcohol resort. Add the recent minor change of preminum beer for the educated beer loving gentlemen and you will find a place where ladies can lunch and guys and join them knowing they can have a weissbeir or a pint of lovely cider. So, the food at this branch is rather good. I had a burger and was satisfied that it was filling, succlent, meaty, juicy and with a lovely array of sauces. Service was attententive and the place was almost fully occupied at a Tuesday lunchtime which is a good sign. I am personally put off by All Bar One’s as Micthell and Butler want a sort of customer that I am not, I am more of a O’Neills guy within their portfolio, but the next time one of the girls I work with say ‘Fancy going All Bar One for lunch?’ I will be happy to be the token boy.
