I came here specifically because of the great reviews I’ve had for Noelene Davey, and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve been suffering from chronic back pain for several months and my GP unhelpfully told me to ‘stop doing things that hurt your back’. Noelene, on the other hand, has worked with me carefully to diagnose the exact problems, giving me exercises that are personalised for my specific problem. I had a spinal fusion for scoliosis at age 12 and was a bit anxious to find a physiotherapist who understood my physical condition(and wouldn’t make it worse) and I’ve only had two appointments so far but already I’m noticing I have better posture and while I still experience pain, it’s gotten better. I’m paying out of pocket which makes it quite expensive, but Noelene is not pressuring me to have more appointments with her than necessary, and I probably will only need to see her once more. The initial assessment/diagnosis appointment(45 mins) cost £70 and follow-up appointments(30 mins) cost £55.

Ambition want your money first and foremost. I went to Ambition after experiencing huge weight gain post anorexia. I was encouraged by their ‘100% results guaranteed or your money back’ slogan and put my whole trust in them to help me out of the huge body depression I was experiencing. I explained my situation and was told that in 3 months I would be where I wanted to be. I stuck faithfully to the diet prescribed and worked hard in sessions. However, the program provided by Ambition is a one size fits all approach that was completely unsuited to my needs. It included absolutely no cardio exercise and I simply lifted weights every session for 3 months. There was nothing to boost my sluggish post anorexia metabolism. I was never re-weighed or measured, despite the fact that their fat loss program promises regular re-measurement and progress tracking. I was told afterwards that they had been too scared to weigh me as they could see that I had made no progress. After 3 months, I mustered the courage to weigh myself — something I find extremely difficult. I had gained 10 kilograms since starting with Ambition. It was at this point that I decided to stop going to Ambition, and to ask for my money back, in accordance with their guarantee. Jeff Murray sent me an email to tell me that I was not entitled to a refund as I had eaten unhealthily throughout my time with Ambition. This is a complete lie. I have always been very conscious of the food I eat and eat extremely well. Ambition failed me and I am still struggling with my weight 3 months and hundreds of pounds later. Thankfully I am now seeing a new trainer and am already seeing results. Stay away from Ambition. They don’t know what they are doing.

I have known the Principal at Ambition for some 20 years and they have helped me through life changing events during that time. In particular a major life saving cancer operation some 15 years ago. Since then have run 8 marathons. climbed mountains(Kilimanjaro, Kinabalu, Sinai) and completed many multi day walks around the world. What I like about Ambition is their holistic approach and the way their professionals work together to achieve the desired results and meet your objectives. I am currently working with them to resolve some knee problems to ensure I am able to complete one of the toughest walks in Europe, the GR20 in Corsica. I am nearly 67 and am confident with Ambitions help I will be able to undertake similar activities in 10 years time.

I ruptured my achilles tendon playing football in 2008 and, being familiar with their work, had no hesitation in approaching the team to help with my rehabilitation. Their innovative and detailed approach meant that I was able to make a full recovery within 6 months. Not only that, my overall fitness and posture also improved as a result. I have no hesitation in recommending Ambition for their expertise and professionalism.

I have worked with most of the team at Ambition, over the past five years and have found their methods enormously beneficial to me. I have spinal cord damage which affects my walking and hand function, along with many other complications. I can honestly say that without the fantastic work of all the team which involves the osteopath, massage therapy and podiatry, my ability to lead a normal and sometimes hectic life would not be possible. Their ethos is simple and can be adapted to suit your individual requirements, be it long term damage like mine or a painful sports injury. I highly recommend an assessment with them, you won’t be sorry!
