This is a 5 star review for the sheer wonder of rolling up to a doorway to an art gallery just off Oxford Street. Inside. up two flights of stairs … we found two floors of work by David Hockney. Personally I wasn’t taken with them but what I loved was the invitation to go and see them, free of charge, so I could make up my own mind.

Any serious art lover must make a bee-​line for this gallery, just off New Bond Street. The current exhibition features 28 limited edition prints by David Hockney. Hockney is one of our greatest living artists and he has embraced the possibilities of new technology to produce inimitable works using Photoshop and Graphics Tablet. If you want to se what happens when modern software meets indisputable genius, this is your chance. It’s on until July 11.
