Apostrophe food is of a very high standard, so that can’t be screwed up too badly, and the place itself is relatively comfortable considering it’s in the middle of a shopping centre. However, the people working here seem to have no idea how to make coffee, how to deal with demanding customers(not me, I hasten to add), or how to be friendly. Disappointing.

Very bland coffee. Service was pretty quick & efficient, but missing the smile I feel coffee shops should have. But then I am in a shopping center of sorts, so should probably adjust my expectations. Love the long table & the booths around the edge, but having no ceiling does still make the place feel a little cold. Ok — if you’re there & fancy a bite or something to drink.

It’s okay. Nothing more. Not a huge selection of sandwiches, they are better on the pastries front. Hot drinks are of average quality. There is a better selection of cold drinks, although not really cold as they sit in jugs on the counter. This particular branch looks a bit shabby and it is not super clean. I have been to better ones in the City. They do get a lot of traffic though as their location is spot on in the middle of the shopping mall and close to the entrance/exit. Overall a bit pricey for what you get.

This Apostrophe was located on the main level of the O2 Center on Finchley Road and I passed by it every time I needed to go to Waterstone’s or Sainsbury’s. Their pastries always looked amazing and I LOVED their décor scheme, but this particular Apostrophe once poisoned me with real milk in my soy latte. I thought my drink tasted a little off, but by the time I realized why I was already feeling sick. I definitely paid extra for the soy, too! Their seating area was super cute and there were always lots of little kids running around the play area. I wish I could like this convenient mall location more, but the staff always seemed a little inattentive even though the kiosk was never very busy…

Hot kiddo tip: the black cylinder surrounded by pink round stools is a chalk board. Keep them entertained while you sneak a quick cuppa ;)

I came here to get a cup of the hot cocoa as I was told that it was super chocolately. When you order, you actually get a choice between having this very chocolately or milky. I immediately ordered my very chocolately hot cocoa, paid my £1.20 and induldged in the chocolately goodness that was in my possession. Do be warned, the very chocolate cocoa is SUPER thick. It is litterally the equivaltent of letting a piece of chocolate melt in your mouth. Luckily I ordered a small as I’m not sure that I could handle much more. But damn was it yummy!
