Apostrophe

I dropped by this morning to pick up some breakfast and ordered a brioche sandwich with smoked salmon and free range egg. It was quite well priced at £3.38 for take away, and £4.05 to eat in. I got takeaway and they then asked me if I wanted it toasted, and when I said yes they tried to charge me £4.05 for having it toasted! I thought that was ridiculous and I cancelled my decision to have it toasted. I’m not sure how they would have toasted it anyway, as the sandwich was already assembled. The cold version wasn’t that tasty and there was far too much bun for the sandwich.

Review: Love iced coffee, and this iced coffee does not fail! It is reasonably flavoured, but not watered down. Go here with the team everyday pretty much, and the iced coffee — I like it for some reason. Probably becaus there is never a queue and if there is a queue we know half the people in the queue? Its the summer — bring it on!

This is fast becoming my favourite sandwich joint close to my workplace. The sandwiches are attractively arranged in a glass counter which allows you to see what you fancy and ask for your choice to be grilled if you so wish. There is plenty of space to sit and because this outlet is situated on a, relatively, quiet street, it doesn’t get as busy as some of the area’s lunch options.
Everything always looks tasty so I invariably take far too long to make my selection. However, I needn’t worry so much about what to choose as everything I have tried has been great with good quality fillings and fresh, interesting bread. The coffee is good as well (for a chain) making it a viable one stop destination for all your food and drink needs throughout the day.
