Apple Store

As an Apple iphone user, I decided to call in this Apple store while inside the Stratford Westfield Centre, after I experienced a few problems with my Iphone 5s, both before and after upgrading to the ios 9 beta.
As my problems seemed quite simple, which included a battery drainage problem, a problem with the speakers and also a problem when sending messages, something turns up to block it, like I’m sending a video when I’m not. I had already tried basic trouble-​shooting so I expected there not to be a problem fixing it. They was.
I was sent around the shop like a puppy looking for a bone. I asked about my phone and I got sent to someone, they didn’t make it very clear so I had to queue and get sent to someone again, and that person (quite a long queue) was only for making appointments to see someone else at the genius bar, they didn’t offer to try and help my problems and instead just advised me that 75 people were ahead of me in the queue, with an Afternoon tea reservation and me already being in a rush, I decided to leave it and call Apple Technical Support.
I spent a few minutes here looking at the gadgets, and even taking a look at the Apple Watch, I do like the idea of them and find them pretty cool, but in all honesty it is a rip off really, you are just paying for something that won’t work without your phone and is just like having the basic phone features on your wrist, so I’d actually think half the price would even be a little pricey, but much better.
Some of the staff here seem quite nice, they advised me that my phone charger was dragging along the floor, which was really useful as If I’d have moved then it would of simply snapped, or even if someone had bumped in to me, hence saving me the inconvenience of having to purchase one and shed out around £15, for a genuine apple certified one.
This is quite a nice store, and the staff do seem okay and they have a nice range of Apple products on demo. I understand most of the staff only have basic knowledge for sales and that is why they couldn’t really assist me, but it is quite a nice store, in a good location on the top floor of Westfield, so I do feel it deserves 3 stars.

Helped my friends to get their iPhone 6 fixed in Stratford Apple Store as they could not speak English. Met the guinness bar and been served by a short Asian guy named Ping. He was rude and was gonna refused to serve me because he thought I was someone else and thought I have been there many times and have taken many devices there for doing business. I was shocked, angry and innocent. So I had the a bit issue with him. Apple is not a cheap brand, should delivery more than that kind of service. I am very disappointed and upset the way I’ve been treat.

Great design to the store. Consistent as always. Customer service is always good and done in a timely fashion. The staff are always knowledgeable and down-​to-​earth.

Staff are extremely cheerful and helpful, especially Patrick, who must be the most patient computer store employee in the world. Despite all his efforts, the ipad his colleagues had just sold me was still not working after 2 ½ hours in the store. However, it turns out Apple telephone helpdesk, not the store staff, were to blame for the problems. Counted to ten when I got home, tried the helpdesk again and this time got through to some great people who sorted everything out.

This is a very good Apple store as the staff are extremely helpful &at hand to help with questions & purchases. Also if you have an iPhone you. Can make purchase in store with your iPhone & the apple store app this is really simple & easy the staff very helpfully showed me how to operate use easy peasy lemon squeeze. There is also the vast Westfield Stafford city with a great food court not KFC, Mac D’s here independent real restaurant style food.

Unlike the jaw-​droppingly beautiful Apple Stores to be found in central London, this one follows the ‘white cube’ design of the stores found in shopping centres the world over.
The staff are plentiful but often my questions are bounced around from one employee to another, they are also very geeky but that suits me fine.
I also think it’s pretty bad design to stock the cable that I need 2.5m from the floor so I had to wait 10 mins for a taller member of staff to become available to stand on a little step to reach the cable I needed. I could have reached it but I wasn’t allowed to stand on the step for health and safety reasons (or maybe I hadn’t been naughty enough). Unfortunately, to connect a mac to a projector requires the purchase of 2 rather expensive cables — sort it out Apple! £50 it cost me!
Another time I needed an operating system upgrade to use Sonos via our macbook (apparently we have leopard or mountain lion or puss in boots or korky the cat or garfield or whatever the hell they like to call their operating systems…) and after a lengthy, way too complicated explanation from a shop assistant about which one I needed I was informed that it could only be purchased from the apple store. Oh right, great — I thought, I’m IN the apple store. But no, I have to buy it from the ‘online’ apple store even though it is a physical disk packaged in a box, the sort you would expect to find in a shop selling apple products. Plus, to get to the newest version I have to buy ALL previous upgrades at about £20 each, although these are available as downloads. Sheesh!
Personally, I’m a PC man. I find Mac’s incredibly confusing having used PC’s all my life. My partner uses a MacBook and it’s not intuitive at all to me (and I’m pretty good at using any piece of electronic equipment without looking at the manual) so this just reinforces my view that my desktop needs to be a Windows affair.

The service at Apple Stores is second to nonehelpful, informative and friendly. I always seem to walk out with a free brand new replacement whenever anything goes wrong. This is my least favourite of the London stores basically a big box advertising Apple products no style, no character, no reason to go back. It was busy genius appointments running 15 mins late even at 10.30 on a Tuesday morning. Hard to fault what they do just that this store has no style.

Brand new Apple store in the recently opened Westfield Stratford shopping centre. It’s a typical store, bright airy, filled with gleaming white products. Like most Apple stores, it’s mobbed at the weekend, with interested onlookers and people seeking free wifi!!!
Bought an iMac from here and was helped by Jon, who was extremely helpful and certainly knew his stuff.
