There is nothing worse than a blocked back. Right?
Backs and Beyond was recommended to me by a dear friend that had just gone through a very painful frozen shoulder, and was raging about how great they are.
Well when I woke up Sunday feeling like an 80 year old, decided I should give them a spin (or a roll, as spinning was a tad too painful).
I met with Gavin yesterday, and in 45min he managed to put a name on what has been causing me chronic back pains for over a year (whereas I was given out a printout from my GP with painkiller prescription), as well as soothing the pain with a few exercises and a bit of acupuncture.
Not only did he save my week, and probably my back, he cheered me right up. He listened, gave good advice, joked and generally just took the time.
Backs and Beyond is a small osteopathy clinic just off Tufnell Park Road where a few osteopaths work. It’s very well maintained, relatively easy access from Kentish town as well. You can get an appointment within the next 24h, and a 45min session will cost you £50
