It’s not up to chipotles standard, but when you find yourself in Paddington with nowhere to go for lunch, it hits the spot. It’s the same idea as chipotle, you chose either a burrito/taco/bowl and then a meat. Then you walk down and choose from the options. If you like spice and you are prepared for a challenge, go for the extra hot salsa, it’s super hot. For just over 7 pounds, you can have the most enormous burrito, complete with guac — which for me no burrito is complete, without! It really does hit the spot and every time I’m left with a food baby. Mmm since working in Paddington, it’s become my second home, but I think this says more about Paddington than it being 5 star good.

Surprisingly good burritos in the middle of Paddington Station. Portion size was perfect for lunch. The chorizo chicken is great and mushrooms on a burrito is a nice treat.

Service was too fast, almost annoying. What do you want this or this of that… Could Not think Food was really average, BETTER than going to McDonald’s but far from high end Mexican fast food However, i did Not expect much at a. Train station

A decent burrito. I’d actually recommended it because at Paddington it’s hard to find good food inside or outside the station at anything close to a fair price. This would be my top pick in the environs despite only giving it 3 stars. It’s basically a chipotle imitator and not quite as good.

This is pretty much your standard burrito place, but it has a few thing going for it. I’m going to assume you’ve eaten at similar places so you understand the whole assembly line burrito concept. One difference is the mushrooms. They have a topping that’s chock full of mushrooms. Delicious. I don’t get that at a lot of other burrito places. They also offer«extra extra» spicy salsa. It’s proper spicy. As an American accustomed to very spicy food, this was a pleasant surprise on English soil. The location is great in Paddington rail station. And frankly, it’s good value for money.

It is an assault on your ears when you go in through the door and servers with a varying grasp of English pronunciation shout questions at you over the music being played. Hope for a queue so you get a chance to read the options on the menu board otherwise they are on you like a shot with no time for thinking!!! However, once you get through the verbal barrage of decision making, the food is surprisingly good. Go with everything and go Extra Hot!!! If you don’t want to have a conversation shouting through the«background» music then sit outside and be gawped at by passers by while you gawp at tourists drawn to a small bronze statue of a bear like moths to a light …

As Americans we like our TexMex. For our first meal in London. It was pretty good and not something we were expecting in London! Yes, we know they’re like Chipotle and Mission Burrito, but hey that’s okay! You order exactly what you want and how much you want of everything. I had a veggie bowl — Spanish rice, beans, peppers, onions, guacamole and lettuce. It was very good! The rest of my family had chicken bowls and loved them. Staff was friendly. Definitely give them a try.

In fairness, Barburrito has come on a long way. At least now they are able to roll a burrito reliably, and the service isn’t quite as haphazard. But… and there a re actually quite a few buts… — The steak burrito I had(«enjoyed» would be overstating) was somewhat underweight –Of the nine million staff behind the counter, a third seemed to be performing no obvious function –There was a peculiar«sweaty socks» aftertaste. I think the moral of the story is probably to avoid burrito places in stations, in London at least, as they seem to be reliably sub-par.

So Barburrito opened in the back area of Paddington Station and I had someone who wanted to meet there for a late night dinner meeting. Ok, let’s go try it out. Barburrito is a Chipotle clone almost down to the letter. Same meats, same make your burrito right in front of you station, same chips and salsa, same everything … only bad. The food was… bad. The meat wasn’t as tender or as flavourful as Chipotle’s, they had less options(no corn? Come on now), the tortilla dry, the chips stale, all of it just unappealing. The service was… bad. They had Chipotle’s same line system where your burrito kept being passed from employee to employee down the counter to be built, but they couldn’t seem to figure it out. The burrito’s kept getting stuck near the end so everything got jammed up and others had to come in and help out to move it along again. It almost felt like that episode of I Love Lucy with the chocolates, only not funny. The space was… fine. Small, tables to sit if you need to rest before leaving on a train, or have a meeting with someone. It was clean and the seats comfortable. That was really the only thing it had going for it. I know the Mexican food in London is already not great, but this was not great to a whole new level. Too bad too, it’s right around the corner from my house and if it was good, I would have come more.

Better burritos to offer versus the other Mexican chain competitors. Vegetarian friendly, big portions, and they offer student discounts.

New Burrito Bar in Paddington station! Located where Krispy Kreme used to be. Pretty reasonable./ Chicken Burrito & extra Guac was just over £5.00.(NHS Discount too!). Just good to have something different to choose from at lunch time!
