I’ve only been here once, but in the time I was here, it was quite nice. The drinks there a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is really cool. In the back of the place there is a space for dancing and an awesome dj who plays the top hits. Best thing about this place is that its free entry and easy to get to from the tube. Only thing is that it gets crowded quite quickly, but it’s definitely still worth a nice check out when you’re hopping around from place to place :]

Bar Sequence lured me through its doors yesterday with a chalk board advertising half price cocktails. I’m glad I took the bait because the bartender made some delicious beverages. I started with bramble that boasted fresh blackberries and a smashed orange slice. The man behind the bar really put some time into it and it showed through every sip. My husband went for a dark and stormy so tasty it compelled him to order a couple more before the clock struck 8 and prices returned to normal. We figured Barrio next door was packed and Bar Sequence was dead empty because only one was playing the World Cup game, but we were wrong. The game was projected on the walls in about 5 different places. Next time I’m craving a cocktail before 8, I will definitely go to Bar Sequence.

Trendy! I would love to come in on a Sunday evening with a bunch of friends. There is drinks and sheesha that you can order. Now the ineteresting thing is that you can bring in your pictures on a memory stick and they display it on huge screens around this place. Different nights have different venues so check out the official website before you head out.

Now this here, this is an interesting beast, ladies and gentlemen. It’s a bar, with bartenders who know their mixology inside out, completely unpretentious, modern feel, serves tea and coffee, and free wi-fi! By day, this is your low-key«working from home» hangout. I can quite see myself pouncing on a table with my laptop, plugging into the very helpfully located mains sockets, sipping a fine cup’o’joe and working/people-watching. By evening, the bar comes into its own, the DJ booth is rockin’, and the drinks are flowing. A very pleasing find for this part of London, where bars are either one-trick ponies or incredibly pretentious. Bar Sequence, I will be back.

The cocktails here are very yummy(if you prefer the bitter ones, like me, I would highly recommend the Combination Collins with grapefruit and elderflower)! Standard London cocktail prices at around £7−8. Something about the layout and colour scheme of this place just doesn’t work for me, but the floor is nice and smooth — perfect for a boogie — and there are tables and chairs outside and by the front windows(which open up) which is nice in the summer. A good place to start out the night with a fancy cocktail!

Sexy bar, sexy cocktails, sexy vibe. Bar Sequence reps itself as a digital bar with apparently red hot Internet speed and awesome cocktails. I’ve actually never seen a bartender put so much effort and so many ingredients into a drink. This unfortunately means they take a while to make, so you will wait. But the depth of flavour is intense — probably some of the best cocktails you will ever have. This bar is a win for me!

After two excellent encounters with Bar Sequence it’s finally time to report on the facilities. By day, the wi-fi will bring you smiles as you sit on a comfy, chic lounge chair in the open air and slowly sip on an unsweetened ice tea. The power outlets are plentiful and you won’t be alone in this laptop friendly venue. By night, enjoy the cocktail concoctions of Sebastian who will ensure your drink is well balanced, even if you end up ordered numerous non-alcoholic, fussy but luscious Lemontrees. There is space to chill and chat, space to drink and floor space to show off your best moves. I’ll undoubtedly be back to enjoy more of Islington’s finest.

Sometimes a place just has a nice vibe. Albeit I was at Bar Sequence at 11:30am drinking cranberry juice(Hardcore I am) with only two other people in the building, but the clean cut décor of this shotgun bar tickled my fancy. I perused the menu and noted a few delectable sounding contemporary cocktails, as well as seeing all the old favourites. This isn’t the most spacious of bars and Laura N is right, you’d want the window seats, yet I just have a feeling the cocktails here could be above average and the DJ booth at the back promises a great atmosphere.

10:30 in the morning is the perfect time to slip into the slim, minimalist open window seating of Bar Sequence, connect to their free wi-fi and watch the yummy mummies stroll by.(Funnily enough, these are the lost yummy mummies, as most stay strictly on the Upper Street side of the green. People watching bonus, that is!) While the layout certainly poses a problem for groups over two(unless you snag the coveted window seat I mentioned before,) it’s a great place to knock back a fresh squeezed juice by your lonesome and power through a to-do list of work tasks. Nothing like sipping on a pomegranate juice and contemplating the necessity of stitches with your co-workers, eh guys?
