I love me some Ben’s Cookies!!! Typically I’m not a fan of cookie stores… like Mrs. Field’s or Millie’s. However, there is something about the cookies at Ben’s Cookies that make them look and taste like they are homemade. We actually stumbled across this location by accident as we had parked the car and were headed for the tube station. As we were walking through the mall, Mr. Snarky asked about grabing a snack before we headed off to meet up with friends. I had suggested a couple of things and then for some reason I said, «Do we have time to go to Covent Garden and get some cookies?» The Covent Garden location is the one I am the most familiar with and don’t really know where the other locations are in London.
As we turned the corner, there was the sign. I did shout, «Ben’s Cookies! Unbelieveable!» It was definitely meant to be. So we stopped in… and by stopped in, we joined the queue because like every Ben’s Cookies location, it is the tiniest shop in the world and only one person can really fit inside. They had lots of all of the flavors, so I had a look, but in the end went with the Milk Chocolate Chunk. Had we been ordering more than one each, I would have gone for a Dark Chocolate Chunk as well. They weren’t warm, but the great thing about these cookies is how soft and chewy they stay, but if you can ever get a warm one, they are heavenly! I also like their Peanut Butter Cookies… not many places where you can get those!
It is conveniently located just a short walk from Shepherd’s Bush. They do hot drinks as well as having a cooler with cold drinks. Of course, you can buy one cookie, or your can upgrade to boxes and tins where you buy 5 and get one free. Really, there aren’t many franchise’s I have thought, «I think I’d like to invest and open one near me», but their website says they are not looking to add any new locations, so I guess this will just have to be a treat for when I’m down south!

Making cookies is a fairly simple recipe that everyone can realize very quickly and easily at home. But when you are out for a shopping moment, it’s hard to start making your own favorite biscuits… In that case, Ben’s Cookies is a fair solution!
A bunch of tantalizing flavors and cookies of a very nice size that are absolutely delicious! This is what awaits you here! Trust Ben!
