Great little restaurant for a quick meal. I went with a friend after work. We both ordered a bibimbap. Generous amount of veg and beef for the price! The restaurant is small but busy, the queue was fairly long when we walked out.

Amazing! I went twice and I had the bibimbap with spicy pork and with spicy chicken + fried egg. Super tasty, served well in warm bowl. Service was quick but arrive early for lunch to get a table, its so good it gets crowded post 12.15−12.30 !

I came here after having a good experience at the Bibimbap in Fitzrovia/Bloomsbury. In terms of atmosphere and feel, it’s the same. Though I’m not a huge fan of the music, it works for the space and the service. I ordered the rice cake starter and a bibimbap with tofu strips for lunch. For some reason, this time everything just tasted too sweet. Some bits of rice cake weren’t cooked well enough, and the sauce, rather than leaving you with a nice rounded taste in your mouth, was just sticky and sweet. The bibimbap itself had generous toppings, but it basically was all toppings and the flavour of the tofu was overpowering. Maybe I’ll order the dish without the tofu strips next time, but it’d be nice to have a little bit more rice to add some more substance to the dish! Good for a quick craving, but I’m still looking for a good bibimbap unfortunately…

This is a great place if you’re in the mood for Korean and on a tighter budget. We ordered the seafood soon tofu stew with white rice and hot stone bowl tofu bibimbap with fried egg for £19. Both tasted great, right up there with similar dishes at popular restaurants we’ve been to in LA. The service was meh, typical for a crowded and understaffed little establishment like this one. Also, would have liked to have the standard Korean side dishes accompany the mains, but they cost extra.

Tienen 2 cervezas coreanas. Y sieeeeeeempre hay cola. 20 mins mínimo.

I was oh-so-excited when my friend suggested Bimbimibap. The first time I tried bimbimibap was in a Korean restaurant in Nottingham, and it was one of the best things I’d ever tasted. On this menu, I was excited to see several vegetarian options. I opted for the classic, which the restaurant’s logo is based on. It was certainly pretty, but didn’t taste of much. I added quite a lot of the available sauce, and even then the dish felt a little bland. I doubt I’ll be returning.

The food tasted great and very well presented. The food I had was chicken teriyaki served with rice and mix sides and kimchi pancake. Quick service! Great for a lunch break! I recommend to stop by and give it a try!

I tasted British-style, American-style and India-style in past few days. Now I have to go back to Asian food in order to make a rest! I Unilocaled this place and tried Chilly chicken+Aloe Vera Juice+Fried egg. Delicious!Nice choice. The waitress looks like a friend of mine though she looks a little nervous against me-such a stranger. My friend asked me why not take a pic? Oh, yes, I didn’t expect to threaten any shy girl and looked weird. Anyway, stunning food. Worthing my 30mins underground+walk.

Huge, delicious warm bowls of Bibimbap at very affordable prices. Delicious Kimchi too. This is a great place to get a fast, filling bowl of great Bibimbap. Super specialised and pretty authentic, this restaurant has fast decent service. Make sure you order an extra egg and go crazy with the chilli sauce!

Okay, so if you have an item of food in your name, I expect you to be good at it, and this place does deliver. Their stone bowls are great! Stir it up as soon as possible and keep it moving but allow for some of it to get crusty on the bottom. It’s not a huge place but they have both upstairs and downstairs and should be able to accommodate a party of about 8 or so. I’m a Bulgogi fan so that’s what I normally go for, but their spicy pork is also good, not tried any of the others so I’ll leave that for other people to review. Sadly, I think their sides let them down a little, the seafood pancake seemed expensive for what we got, really light on the seafood compared to other places, and the glass noodles Jap Chae were also more expensive and not as good as elsewhere. Make no mistake, they are good, but I’ll get them elsewhere unless somebody else is ordering them. When(that’s a when, not an if) I go again, I’ll stick to the bibimbaps, but for a relatively quick eat in Soho, I can’t really complain. Oh, and Hite beer, always a plus.

If I’m ever looking for a comforting, tasty, and quick meal after work or before a gig/show, I like to head to bibimbap. After 18:30 there is generally a short queue outside, but this moves fairly quickly. Unfortunately, they do not take bookings. On this occasion I had the mixed mushroom Bibimbap. The dish comes served in a fiery hot stone bowl, three types of mushrooms and an assortment of crunchy vegetables on top of rice. I love the pre-eating part of a bibimbap. The sizzle of the veg as you stir it around the bowl, allowing it to soften a little. I like to leave a layer of rice on the bottom to cook longer, as it forms a chewy crunchy crust. Sriracha and miso sauce come served in red and yellow ketchup and mustard squeeze bottles. So you can load up on as much or as little sauce as you fancy. Service is quick, food is delicious!

My friend had been recommended this place however I wasn’t so sure on the idea! However I normally choose the restaurants so I went with it! I was really impressed. We didn’t book and were seated straight away! Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs. We ordered the local beer which was pretty nice and both went for a bibimbap which are rice dishes with veg and meat cooked in the bowl it’s served it(beware v hot) They delish! Really filling, plenty of flavour and served quickly for a good price! Would definitely go back!

I found this place after reading about it in TimeOut mag as a recommended cheap eats restaurant. It’s cheap for sure but easily adds up as we found out by adding extras to our hot stone bowl — also drinks are a little pricey. But nonetheless a great little find — we tried coming here a few times after our evening work out as it hits the spot for healthy protein, veg and carbs — however we found we had to queue for quite a bit, which post-workout had us slightly hulking out for food! It’s worth queuing though — tasty wholesome food — nothing spectacular but definitely enjoyable. Mind you don’t burn yourself with the hot stone bowls though!

Bibimbap. Bibimbap it sounds like something from a song… it is just typical Korean dish served in the hot stone bowl. We were in a neighborhood and up for a warm, not too expensive Korean meal. This place ticked all of the boxes. You have some starters to choose from, big range of bibimbap and drinks card. We ordered two different meat dishes — spicy pork and bulgogi with some kimchi on the side. To drink — ice green tea — and beware it is not sweetened. Spicy pork was delicious, flavorsome, however bulgogi lacked a bit in taste and spices used. Adding a bit of chili sauce helped. Kimchi was ok, not great. I had better — they could also serve a bit bigger portion. All in all it was a very tasty dinner and great option for a quick meal. not a romantic place, however good for a nice meal.

Obsessed. I try to get something different every time I come here. But either way it’s always full of fresh veggies and comes in their wonderful hot stone bowls!(I strongly suggest a glass of the Aloe Vera water too from here!) It’s small but they are fest and turn the tables around quick! I usually get there about 5.30÷6 and have never had to wait for a table… But I’ve been eating and there’s been a queue out the door before. I’m also in love with theI miso sauce they give you! Think of it as the ketchup of Korean food! Amazing!

HOW did I not try this place sooner?! I feel a strange need to hi-five someone about my recent visit, because I can’t actually think of another place in central London that bags the holy trinity of casual eats better than these guys — affordable, healthy AND goddamn delicious! It has a buzzing canteen-style vibe and you can’t book ahead, but there’s a hidden downstairs area that means it’s bigger than you think so we didn’t have to wait long for a table for two. Obvs you have to go for the eponymous traditional bibimbap(if only to enjoy saying the word out loud). I chose the chilli chicken which was tasty and filling, and all the fresh veggies made me feel good. A dash of the chilli sauce on the table went with it nicely — note this isn’t ketchup despite the look of the bottle. Also remember not to grab the sizzling hotter-than-the-sun stone bowl with your bare hand in your excitement to get to the bottom(doh)… I was extra glad about my cold bottle of Hite at that point! Service is brusque as you might expect but this place had everything I needed to pick-me-up on a cold, rainy London eve. My date was winning before he’d even opened his mouth… :)

Came here with 5 friends for a long overdue catch up. The atmosphere is very casual and serves primarily bibimbap. I ordered the most traditional bibimbap and the kimchi pancake. Was a huge fan of both! The bibimbap was fresh in a very very hot stone bowl! The kimchi pancake was flavourful and delicious. The people here were friendly and very patient with our group. Many thanks! Highly suggest for you to come here if you’re looking for a relaxed place to catch up over Korean food!

This is one of my favourite little spots in Soho. I love how popular affordable food is now, and this place is a great example. There may be a small queue to get a table, and the interior may be ever so slightly basic, but it is all part of the great Bibimbap experience. This is where I discovered the Korean Bibimbap dish, a super hot stone bowl filled with rice, veg and a choice of toppings, all mixed up and sizzling in front of you. The sauces on the table(chilli and miso) are a great addition, as is the raw egg which joins everything together as it cooks. This is one of the most delicious dishes you can get for under £7 in London. Get some kimchi on the side and a bottle of Korean beer, you won’t be disappointed. Then keep going back! Yum!

My visit today for lunch was a little mixed! The décor was appropriately bright and well decorated with tiny poloroids of who I assume are regulars? The bibimbap was presented with lots of fresh veggies and well spiced pork, though the fried egg was not as runny as I would have wished. The stone bowl was burning hot as it should be, keeping the dish toasty until the last bite. My issues included the general stickiness of all the restaurant surfaces– table, floor and bathroom handles! Also staff was a bit aloof and seemed all too eager to clear our plates and hustle us out the door. I’ve had better bibimbap to be honest but for £7 this was a good option for lunch today!

Note if there was an option to give 3.5 stars that would be a more accurate reflection of my review. Bimbimbap«does what it says on the tin» — it offers bimbimbap that is satisfying, tasty and hot. The pickles are fresh and nicely sour and the starters such as the tofu, kimchi pancake and mixed vegetables are also noticeably fresh and well seasoned. However the shortfalls are the meat is average with not much flavour, the menu is quite limited and the bimbimbap is so hot it leaves you vigorously stirring and blowing on the food to prevent the rice or your mouth getting burnt. The setting, music and service is pleasant so this restaurant is good as an occasional healthy dine out but perhaps not for special occasions and is not for everybody.

Small portions for the bibimbap but surprisingly good and if you order an appetizer you’ll fill up. I just got the classic, and smothered it with my favourite chili sauce. Yum! Careful though, the stone bowl is HOT and you may burn your greedy mouth if you eat too fast. Not much else to say! To explain bibimbap — it’s really just various traditional Korean mixed veggie dishes on rice with a nice egg on top. Stir in chili sauce to taste… and enjoy.
