Amazing service with a smile from a great group of friendly ladies! Instantly sat down, our order taken quickly and plates cleared immediately. The food was good, simple, fresh and quick from the kitchen. Coffee was a little rough around the edges but still good. Recommend.

This is a lovely lovely place to come and have a coffee. It’s always buzzy, but I have never seen it too full. It’s easy to sit here on your own and either work, read or day dream. There is also outdoor seating for when the sun shines.

Good café! Quite expensive(£7.50 for a breakfast) This ain’t no greasy spoon! Very well presented, quick service but not entirely efficient. I liked the atmosphere and the food was great, especially the sausages!

I’ve had a snack in Blue Mountain a few times, including a couple alone which normally terrifies me. However I found the café to be super friendly but happy to leave me to my own devices rather than hassling me to order more or move out. I have only ever visited when it has been pretty empty so can recommend 6pm as a great time to avoid all the buggies. Biggest plus: they sell a good selection of healthy, tasty homemade food including veggie quiche, samosas etc. I’ve only ever had snacky meals so can’t comment on their proper meals. My potato salad was coated rather too thickly in mayonnaise, but apart from that I can’t really think of a minus. The drinks are kinda pricey I suppose, but I think the food is entirely reasonable.

Wanted to check this café out for a while as a good friend highly recommended. Calling it the Blue Mountain café I was silly to think that I may get a Blue Mountain Coffee here. Unfortunately no. Time to treat myself and and wanted to take some home and they had none in stock and getting it in soon!!! Fine. The coffee was nice and average. It’s a nice Deli and Café. Will give it another try.

Great place to read the paper and get some breakfast on a weekend. Does seem to attract a lot of parents, babies and massive buggies though.

The Blue Mountain Café has the potential to be a really lovely deli-style café in an area that is in dire need of something a bit more upmarket, and in some ways it does deliver. They have a nice range of sandwiches, including a roasted vegetable with hummous ciabatta which is excellent, and the main meals are also good. They sell things like organic lemonade, preserves, and fruit and veg, which is very handy if you live nearby. The downsides to this place are the number of people with pushchairs blocking up the aisles, and the speed at which you get your food, especially to take away. Also, I don’t find the staff to be very friendly, or interested in t
