This is a very good local Indian restaurant — very much worth going to rather than doing take-away as one of the best things is the food presentation. It is authentic and original with some real finds such as Beetroot kofta which are delcious soft balls — like gnochhi on growth hormoe — with a delectable sauce. Starters good too but i have never had room for dessert — the kulfi is home-made they promise. Charming staff and incredibly good value: two of us ate there tonight(May 2011) for £31 including quite a lot of beer.

This is a great addition to the local area — the food is delicious, and lots of unusual dishes, beetroot koftas are a firm favourite. The food is really fresh tasting, well prepared, and with great flavour combinations — Tandoori King Prawns with Pomegranate, Sweet Potato & Butternut squash… The staff are knowledgeable and clearly take pride in the tasty food and in making sure customers are happy. It’s a diamond in an area where you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find such great cuisine — try it, you won’t regret it!
