Loads of fun on a girls night out. We learnt that we all suck at playing ping pong, which only got worse with the addition of alcohol, but again hilarious fun! Drinks are are expensive, but hey it’s London. The cocktails are amazing and the bar staff are super friendly.

Bounce is actually a lot more fun than I expected. Sure the novelty of ping pong does wear off after a while but when there is a big enough group it’s good to have the activity to keep people occupied. When the lights go down and the music goes up things become a lot more interesting. It’s like a mini rave but with plastic balls and bats! Definitely an unusual experience. The pizzas look OK here although they aren’t cheap and they have a decent selection at the bar. Lagers and craft beers are both well served and the spirits tend to be free poured which has left me feeling slightly tender the next day! Bounce isn’t somewhere I would come every week but for special occasions you could do a lot worse than check it out

Great place for a evening out with friends while enjoying some ping pong games. I surely thought that it will be difficult to have fun in such a large and crowded place but actually it is quite pleasant. The food is overrated so just go for some drinks and have fun playing. The staff is very welcoming and ready to help. I would definitely recommend this place for a good night out when bowling or karaōke is not an option.

This bar hates Americans!!! Even if you’re a pleasant, educated American, you will be treated like rubbish/crap.

If you’re in London and you like ping pong with a side of expensive alcohol then Bounce is your spot. It has a young adult vibe which has its pros and cons depending on your mileage. If you’re going, make sure you go early if not you will have to wait. Bounce fills up pretty quickly. This is something you want to do as a group for sure.

I attended the preview night with a friend. There were friendly staff that checked us in, and as soon as you walk through the door you’re hit with these amazing colourful graffiti decoration everywhere. As you walk down the stairs there are several dining tables and chairs to the left with a well stocked full bar. There’s a few chill out tables/chairs dotted around if you just want to hang out, have a drink and take in the entertainment. Bounce Shoreditch have s huge space and plenty of colourful ping pong tables to offer. There is a staffed cloak room too. Oh and for the Ladies there are a decent number of toilet cubicles. I’ve never been to Bounce before but was informed that the tables could be booked by the hour. Games Masters are there to get you involved in fun games or you can just stick with your friends on your table. I was impressed by the fully functioning kitchen which seems to provide a professional a la carte menu. I tasted the canapés throughout the evening which were pretty yummy. I also managed to grab a piping hot pizza slice which was really good. As for the ping pong I hadn’t played in years, my friends and I weren’t the best but it was so much fun. There were balls a plenty, we didn’t have to search around for them(no pun intended), plus there were stewards walking around collecting stray balls and putting them in little metal buckets by the tables for convenience. It was easy to get into games with Games Makers which were fun and quite a workout. When they turned the lighting to fluorescent it gave it that old fairground feel especially with the pumping music. The only mar on the evening was when my friend and I were roughly and forcibly removed from our table when this old man decided we had played for too long, even though there were no time restrictions that night! He even went as far as taking my ball and roughly trying to pull the bat from my hand. We would have happily left if we were told someone else wanted to play, but that didn’t happen. I was very upset and looked around for security but didn’t find any. I left shorty after. Prior to that idiot I had a really good time and definitely think it’s a great place to hang out with friends.

Regardless of your opinion on whether or not ping-pong constitutes a sport, it unquestionably triumphs as an activity exponentially improved with alcohol. Bounce Shoreditch offers both, housing 17 ping-pong tables and a stocked bar with an impressive range of premium gins, craft beers and cocktails. If you work up an appetite on the tables, there is an in-house pizzeria with a tempting menu of thin crust specialties and a restaurant with full table service(no nets on these tables, though). I attended a preview night to view the venue space, sample the food and, naturally, get walloped at ping-pong. The setting is underground and impressively large– walking into the main area, there is enough floor space for a kitchen, bar, communal tables, booths and plenty of room for play. It’s trendy, industrial and manic– expect to come into contact with a wayward ball or two– and this energy contributes to the fun. There is a DJ booth and we were treated to some seriously good 90s era tunes on the night. The lights were cut and the serious fun began: everything was suddenly illuminated in a phosphorescent glow. Just when we thought we were ready to call it quits on our table, the prospect of UV ping-pong added a whole new dimension of chaos. The ball catchers darted tirelessly between the players with their nets, keeping everyone’s ball bucket filled and the fun going. Pizzas were flying out of the pizza bar, bubbling and delicious. Of these, we sampled a fantastic range, including an excellent Hawaiian, a genuinely spicy pork and fennel, a moreish wild mushroom and a notable margherita. All of the pizzas were generously loaded with toppings and flawlessly crispy without a charred edge in sight. In addition to the pizza, canapés were also circulated: I particularly recommend the Kashmiri chicken on mini popadums, the smoked salmon on rye and the arancini balls– all were tempting enough to stall play for scoffing. We played ping-pong for over an hour before surrendering our table(somewhat begrudgingly). It’s an exhilarating group activity, even if had moments of intensity that bordered on violence. Thankfully, we left as friends, had a few drinks at the bar, enjoyed the ambiance and ended the night dancing. Bounce Shoreditch is the second addition to the Bounce franchise and it’s the type of venue that you need to experience for yourself. If you’re celebrating an occasion, or just on the hunt for a fun post-work retreat, you’ll be a hero if you suggest this place. Especially if you get there early enough to play on the 2014 World Championship Final table from Tokyo(yes, it’s there).

Wooooww! Well, that was a hell of an evening folks… What was supposed to be a casual and usual tech networking night became a fantastic«party». In arguably one of the most impressive venues I’ve been in London. Yes, the Bounce Shoreditch is absolutely awesome! The London Tech scene usually gathers every Friday somewhere around Old Street for a weekly unwind, the Silicon Drinkabout. This one was special because Tech City was co-organising the night and the Bounce was reopening: free drinks, free food. Needless to say there were plenty of these. The food was very lovely, and a decent wine choice. We could not be too picky because, well, it was free until 9PM. So why would we complain? At the entrance, lovely ladies welcomed us all with high 5… With the music in background and everybody smiling, I really felt like a Rockstar. We all had fun playing ping pong like kids, booze has probably somehow helped there… The staff was remarkably professional yet very friendly and were 100% in the vibe of the night. I understand that it probably was a unique experience, and the Bounce is not like this every Friday. No free booze for sure, but the overall vibe. I guess the only way to know is to go back there and try it on a regular Friday. I most definitely will, and update my review if needed. I doubt so though, I had so much fun at the Bounce that I guarantee it will be the same every night… Give it a try!

Absolutely wicked evening out in shoreditch. Who ever came up with the idea of ping pong mixed with r n b music and cocktails needs a medal! In amongst the playing ping pong, terribly I might add, I got to dance to some of the best r n b music I’ve heard in a while and catch up with some old Unilocal friends. Win win! The event was really well set up. Staff were there to greet you on the way in and advise where everything was. There were game makers on hand to get everyone in the ping pong mood and to give tips. Drink wise, huge choice. There was an amazing cocktail, similar to a Bellini, but much nicer! Big thumbs up from me. Otherwise fruity east Coast cocktail. A yellow cocktail, which was tasty, but the name escapes me. Free flowing prosecco and a good choice of beers. The food was really good also, lots of cheesy nibbles, pizza, and other delicious Italian treats. Throughly recommend this place! Must for a cool night out to impress friends visiting London and for a more competitive evening out.

Top night! Never knew the fascination with table tennis in a bar– many of my friends go to the other bounce and well I thought let’s give it a go! I can’t sell this place to ya! It was such a blast table tennis mixed in with alcohol and food is available and well if your a novice like me don’t panic there is someone there to give you handy tips! But the ultimate thing is your having so much fun and you don’t realise the time goes by so quickly! We were fortunate to have a table all night and ended up sharing with another couple luckily people we knew but what a great combo friends drink and table tennis ! This is the future! Oh forgot to mention on an event the queue for the cloak room was really long there was a lot of angry people but the staff I wanna give them a big thumbs up for keeping their cool and trying their best to get everyone’s belongings in a timely matter! You guys did a good job and actually all their staff did!

Excellent craft beer and gin selection! And they have UV lights! There’s more room between the tables than at Bounce Holborn which is great. If you get a graffiti table it’s really hard to see the ball though. Unless the UV lights are on! We ate the pulled pork and spicy pork pizzas. The pulled was a bit bland but the spicy was tasty. The wedges with gorgonzola dip were good too. All in all a great venue!
