Bradmore Green Library

This is the best library in the world [citation needed].
It was definitely the best part of my childhood though. Got an awesome children’s section and a tantalising division into Childrens and Young Adult — if this was supposed to be a marketing technique then it worked. Kept going back every Saturday until at some point (probably aged about 8 — I was somewhat precocious as a child) I decided enough was enough, declared myself to be a Young Adult and then made that step from Babysitters Club to Sweet Valley High — all quality fiction.
I went back here to work last year and two things occurred to me:
1) there are no power sockets, so you can’t use a laptop (for longer than its battery life anyway)
2) it is SO SMALL, literally just a room — I guess when you’re a child you don’t really notice.
Still awesome though.
