Tiny shop… Ordered three teas… waited 15minutes before cancelling the order as had to leave… neat way of sealing the cup so it does not leak and staff were accomodating and happy to refund the money when we said we could not wait any longer as had to leave… will try it another time…

This shop is tiny, but full of awesome! They have lots of options for flavours, bubbles and toppings. You can put together your favourite combinations, they even sell the bubbles separately to take home. Some of the milky flavours are rather on the sweet side, but still very enjoyable.

Had to try it but sadly the looks of the shop are better than the taste! The taste of the tea and the sweetness were not like other places for instance in soho

One of my worst bubble tea experiences. As an avid bubble tea drinker, I was not happy with the quality of the drink which was just average. The tea has little flavour but can often be too sweet. Each time I come I end up waiting around 20 – 30 minutes for my drink which is absolutely ridiculous considering that there aren’t that many customers in this tiny closet and bubble tea honestly doesn’t take long to make. The guy who took my order was so difficult to understand, and with an entirely non-Asian staff the atmosphere of the shop seemed strange considering authentic bubble tea is originally Taiwanese. I come here when I am in south Kensington and am in the mood for bubble tea but it’s really not the best.

Came here on a Sunday morning expecting to queue, but I got in and out in less than 10 minutes. The worker greeted me as I skimmed over the menu to decide what I wanted. After ordering, I went over to the seating area(good amount of seating available to lounge and rest after a long day of walking) to wait when the worker brought over my drink to me along with a straw! I got a large passion fruit tea for about £3.50. The drink was worth the price and I will definitely return in the future!

I got the Taro milk tea, which was pretty average — nothing spectacular. The service here was great; I was confused with the currency for a moment, and the cashier helped me out. Also, I loved that they wear lab scientists attire to work. The place is small, so it’s definitely a grab and go style.

The tiniest little branch of Bubbleology is quite literally a hole in the wall — just space for about 4 people to stand(mostly waiting in the queue to order or to pick up). There are 3 barstools, but on a sunny day it was too busy for anyone to have a space to sit — we all wanted our tea! As per the usual at Bubbleology, the teas are tasty and the service is nice. The staff at the South Ken location are particularly friendly. :)

After seeing a bunch of these places, I finally caved and went in. To be honest, coming from the states I was skeptical about a chain in London being any good at making boba. I ordered a almond milk tea with regular tapioca(boba). Hey, very surprised! The tea was nice and strong, not overly milky. As for the boba. It was nice and chewy! Often times, boba places sell old, pre-made boba that has been sitting all day. This makes it very starchy and instead of being chewy, you can bite through it too easily. If it’s really old and disgusting, it’ll break in half. Long story short, this place isn’t too bad! I also got the lychee green tea with lychee jelly! Also very tasty! If you’re not sure what lychee tastes like, it’s sweet with a bright, citrusy flavor. It’s very refreshing on a hot day. I’d give it a four but the staff are super sweet and it was clean as well! I enjoyed it!
