When Buoni Amici opened up down the street from our flat, my roommates and I knew we had to go try it in order to support our thriving neighborhood, give back to our community and eat heaps of pasta. The inside of the restaurant is adorable and they have made what used to be a very plain, boring café look elegant and quirky. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly, guiding us through the menu with great recommendations on appetizers and entrees. While waiting for out forth housemate to arrive we ordered the fried mozzarella, the octopus tower, and the salmon pâté. The waiter brought us some bread to begin which was INCREDIBLE normally I try to limit myself on bread before a meal so as not to fill myself up before the main event, but this bread was unbelievable! I would have been just as pleased if it had been my entrée, I do not know how they achieved the perfect crisp, butteriness but I will surely go back soon to investigate. All of the appetizers were divine, especially the octopus tower. I have never had anything like this but will soon go back to try it again. For my entrée I had the seabass which came whole, with some vegetables and mashed potatoes on the side. It was cooked perfectly and we managed to scrape every last piece of edible fish out of it. My roommates had a variety of other dishes which were all very tasty, special shoutout to the Paccheri con Tartufo which was amazing. Much to our surprise the bill came to just over 100 pounds for 3 appetizers, 3 bottles of wine and 4 entrees. All in all Buoni Amici is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and I am excited to have cute places like it opening up nearby. I would recommend anyone to go even if they don’t live in the Shepherds Bush area. Very affordable, delicious and cozy!

Évaluation du lieu : 5 London, United Kingdom
I was very sad when I learned that the little café by my house was going to be closing. Little did I know that it would turn into the best Italian restaurant in London. The interior is lovely and very upmarket with Italian touches everywhere, and a beautiful wine bottle fountain on the back wall. With nice stemware on the tables. We did not have a reservation but were still able to be seated. We were given warm bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar. Unfortunately, the house red wine was out, but the next bottle was only £20 so a steal if you are going out to eat. For starters we had the Mozzarella Fritto, a breaded mozzarella that gooey and very flavorful, the Polpo con Le Uova which was octopus in a white wine sauce, with egg and asparagus. Ok I know what you are thinking, those things dont go together… oh but how you are mistaken. This was single handedly the best starter I have ever had. None of the flavours were overpowering and it just worked. Trust me, and if you hate it, I would be very happy to finish it for you. We also had the Salmone Affumicato Rotolato which was a salmon pâté and avocado, again excellent. For main I had Chicken with Prosciutto. The chicken was cooked perfectly, tender and moist not a bit dry. It was stuffed with prosciutto and some sort of cheese covered in a Gorgonzola sauce. It came with potatoes that were seasoned really well, and made for the perfect vehicle to make it socially acceptable to drink the Gorgonzola sauce. By the time dessert came I was so so full so did not partake but my flatmates enjoyed a chocolate something(I cant remember due to food coma) But were all VERY satisfied. I almost hate to write a glowing review so that it doesnt become impossible to get into, but this little Italian oasis in Shepherds Bush is not to be missed. It would be a perfect date restaurant as its candlelit ambiance is very romantic and the food insanely good without breaking the bank.
