Caffé Concerto

Great place for an afternoon tea experience. Even if that means 10 pm
The atmosphere inside takes you to the old cafes in Austria, the music it’s old classy kinda style. I had an english breakfast tea and one éclair, soo good. Like the ones I used to eat in the very old places in Bucharest (Little Paris experience).
They stay open till late and they are located close to Piccadilly/​trafalgar square, so busy busy cute area.
The waiters wear nice uniformes and they are very attentive, too much sometimes :))

Tourist trap. Looks cool from the outside but super sticky and dirty inside. Service is disgusting, tips included in bills so they don’t give a sh*t and the quality of the cakes is really bad and super overpriced.

Jolly good food and drink don’t you know. I enjoyed a scone and the goat cheese salad. The live music was fun and I enjoyed the overall ambiance of the place on a Saturday evening.
Clean, good service and a jolly good time had by me and my mates!
Ah well off to the ghost tour!

I really enjoyed my dinner over there, had some kings prawn risotto a bit salty but it was well cooked
Nevertheless I didn’t enjoy my dessert which was a cheesecake, for the price we pay it should be like more natural than that

We ordered two lattes and two cheese sandwiches, the food was tasty but there was a hair in one of the sandwiches and the manager was so rude, he didn’t even apologize and only after he saw that we were not happy he gave us another latte on the house. The price was average.

If I could put zero stars I would… the workers at Caffe Concerto are lazy, rude, useless, racists pigs… Do not waste your money with them!

Awful! not worth £6per cake!!! Awful service! Incompetent staff! You would expect a relaxing atmosphere but the only thing you can hear is the banging of glasses and cutlery! Go to Starbucks for better service and cakes! Such a disappointment!!!

Terrible, terrible service. I am so upset that I had to pay for that. I will never go back to anything owned by this company. I was uncomfortable the whole time, was mocked and talked back to for no reason, and I was served food on a dirty plate. If you want crummy service and bland desserts go here.

If you have a sweet tooth, you will love this café. There is an extensive desert selection, and service is great.

Came in and was seated at a table. Stayed for about 10 minutes and felt ignored. A server never came to see us despite our attempts to make eye contact. We looked at each other shrugged and left. Little too stuffy on there for us I guess.

The ambiance is clearly nice and it’s an enjoyable place to linger while sipping a latte with friends. However, the food was quite disappointing, and the service was terrible. There is no other way to put it that the entire wait staff was quite rude and inattentive. My party made a concerted effort to be pleasant, only to be met consistently with scoffs and scowls. Perhaps this was a onetime situation for the staff, but it unfortunately made this a onetime visit for me and my party.
Note: I just read this review to my party, and they feel I was overly nice with this review. So for their sake please imagine reading this review with a very harsh tone.

Terrible service and terrible food. Tourists lured in by pretty chandeliers only. I am one of the sad tourists. Lobster rossiotto is a whole full plate of rice and very little lobster, not even that much spice. Have to ask for water. Takes forever to give me back the changes as if they don’t want to. I gave them 50 for 24. CAUTION tourists!

Fine for a quick pitstop. Just had a coffee and Scone to refuel. The coffee was really good and the scones served with clotted cream and jam.
Service was OK but nothing special.

More interested in closing than waiting on customers. Wanted a coffee and dessert after dinner but no one would wait on me. Had to flag down some one to check out.

Chocolate cake was very-​very delicious! it was called dark forest, if I’m not mistaken. And fruity African tea was also tasty. Perfect location and very cozy interior makes this place ideal to visit with your friend

We had a wonderful continental breakfast at Caffe Concerto. It was fresh and light, with tasty pastries, preserves and fresh french blueberry fromage frais. The Café Mocha was creamy and delicious, and the standard coffee would make any starbucks run for their money. The waitresses were polite and attentive. The décor very boutique, but remaining true to the french patisserie feel. The full glass frontage allowed for some early morning people watching, or in this case counting the double deckers! It was pleasant, a sweet spot for out of the cold, and the breakfast selection had something for everyone. It was quite a delight.

After a long day spent shopping at Harrods, we thought it was a good idea to stop by for some snacks and this little café looked so charming! We were greeted right on arrival and seated as so.
The ambiance was very warm and relaxing with the classy chandeliers and red velvet seats. Our waitress however seemed a bit lost as she forgot to bring us the wine we had ordered and we even reminded her to bring it about three times. After that we just decided to leave it be and continued to wait for our food, which was so worth the wait! We ordered a delicious bread sampler and a few pastries and we were good to go. I wish we had spent more time in London because I would have certainly loved to return!

The rigatoni concerto and spaghetti bolognese are really very nice!!! especially the dessert here even more better ! Besides, waiters here are extremely into there work~ I strongly recommend this restaurant !~

Unfriendly service. Food/​drink is ok. Good looking place but that’s all. We should have checked Unilocal before trying this place.

Wow, what a great little spot just off Picadilly. It was busy but not slammed at 3:00 PM on a Friday. She had a Chicken Caesar proclaimed just right on the dressing. I had the Concerto Salad, Parma Ham and Bacon over Arugula, with buffalo mozzarella and tomato with balsamic. I added just a little Olive oil and it was perfect.
If you need a nice, crisp lunch stop in and enjoy a break from the crowds.

When we walked past Caffe Concerto we were both going through some serious gelato withdrawl. Spending 11 days touring Italy will do that to you…
It didn’t occur to us in that moment that we were in England, a land famous for its fish/​chip dishes and sticky toffee puddings. But after a long day of touring central London our eyes read «italian gelato» in fancy script and there was no convincing our minds or our feet of just walking past the café.
It was not the best gelato we had in Europe. Not even close.
The strawberry didn’t really taste like strawberries and the hazelnut and coffee tasted oddly similar to each other. and while the cup sizes they serve up are very generous but the prices are gouged. £4.50 for two scoops is a bit high (especially after you do a pound to dollar conversion. yikes!)
If you’re in the area and find yourself desperately craving a scoop of gelato– stay strong and say no! Celebrate the fact that you’re in England, find yourself a pub and order up a classic pudding. This gelato disappoints, the pudding will surely not.

We came by when another restaurant in the area had a bit of a wait. Despite not having checked Unilocal yet at this point this place looked like a charming little café with pretty pastries displayed at the window so we decided to give it a chance.
I didn’t think Caffe Concerto was nearly as horrible as many reviews here claims it to be. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and we were handed their dinner and dessert menu. We selected two of their pasta dishes which I’ll say weren’t bad at all. The buffalo mozzarella used on my dish tasted fresher than I’d expected. Husband seemed to be content with his. They had plenty of dessert options but we skipped it.
Service wasn’t bad. I will say it took quite a bit of waiting (we had to ask twice) to get our check and the service can be seen as a bit aloof. I only get annoyed when I receive rudeness and downright incompetence so I wasn’t nearly as bothered by their service as the other reviewers who may have had a higher expectation.
Perhaps if I had checked their reviews on Unilocal prior to walking in here I would have been scared off by some of the scathing reviews. But I came in blindly not knowing a thing about this place and it turned out to be be so-​so, at least for us.

nous avons fait une pause dans notre journée de visite dans ce café,
les boissons était correcte, les cheesecake étaient bons ainsi que la gauffre CEPENDANT la serveuse a été odieuse, elle s’est trompé dans la commande, a rechigné à réparer son erreure le prix est cher pour la qualité et le service!
j’ai été surprise de voir le contraste dans la salle avec notamment une chaise dont l’assise était completement déchiquetée que sa place aurait été a la poubelle et les toilettes impeccables aux sous sol

Accueil agréable en entrant mais serveur peu aidant service thé et patisserie: rapide.
Thé ok patisserie vraiment pas terrible: tarte aux fraises avec fond de tarte industriel et peu goûteu recouvert de crème fouétée trés certainement en bombe et 2 demi fraises décongelées sur le dessus. Beurk !

Sehr gutes Café in der Picadilly! Wir suchten einen Platz zum Frühstücken und fanden das Café. Ich habe ein englisches Frühstück genossen, meine Freundin ein kontinentales. Beides war sehr lecker und preislich für den Geschmack und die Lage in Ordnung. Wir kamen leider nicht mehr dazu, die fantastisch aussehenden Kuchen und das Eis zu probieren. Einziges Ärgernis: der automatische Serviceaufschlag von 12,5% — 10% hätten sie schon bekommen, aber den Zwang fand ich unangebracht.
