Cee Bee is one of the few places in Edmonton I can count on to provide a decent meal when I don’t have the time or energy to cook. When looking at the menu you might think its just another one of those Nandos imitation chicken shops, but after you have a taste of the food you’ll find that its not the same old recipe that you’ve grown tired of over the last decade. I recommend the chicken and pilau rice meal, the chicken is tasty(I usually go for the ‘spicy’ variation, but they have a special ‘bbq’ variation which I have yet to try but other people seem to love) and the pilau rice dish is an interesting recipe that I’ve never had elsewhere — its actually ‘pelau’ which appears to be a traditional Caribbean rice dish but I guess they thought the association with the ol’ dependable Indian dish made sense. It takes a short while to prepare so I’d recommend phoning ahead for collection.
